공동주택 거주자의 층간소음에 대한 사회적 갈등 요인 분석 및 문제해결 방안 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 공동주택에 거주하는 거주민을 대상으로 혼합연구를 하였다. 본 연구에서는 질적 연구 방법과 양적연구 방법을 이용한 혼합한 혼합연구방법(Mixed method)을 사용하였다. 질적 연구 대상은 층간소음을 경험한 공동주택 거주민 9명, 양적 연구 대상은 공동주택 거주민 300명을 대상으로 하여 두 데이터를 연결하는 설명적 순차설계(Creswell & Clark, 2017)를 사용하였다. 질적 연구 참여자는 층간소음에 노출된 당사자인 피해경험을 가진 거주민 9명을 대상으로 이웃관계 경험을 심층적으로 면담하였다. 층간소음문제 해소를 위해 공동주택 거주민이 경험한 주관적인 경험을 있는 그대로 Giorgi 현상학적 연구방법을 채택하여 생생한 경험을 기술하였다. 수집된 원 자료는 Giorgi의 기술적 현상학의 4단계(stage) 방법을 통해 정확한 기술(description)을 보여줄 수 있도록 분석하였다. 분석결과, 공동주택 거주민의 층간소음 갈등요인과 문제해결 경험에서 도출된 본질적 중심 주제는 (1) 공동체의식 부족의 갈등요인 (2) 일상생활의 갈등요인 (3) 스트레스를 유발하는 갈등요인 (4) 협상으로 문제해결 시도(5) 서로 이해하는 이웃관계 형성 (6) 공동체의식 발현 (7) 적극적인 공동체 생활 시작하기로 나타났다. 양적연구에서는 소음이 공격성과의 관계는 어떠한지 또한 갈등해결방안의 공동체의식과 이웃유대와의 관계성을알아보았다. 그 결과 소음환경은 공동체의식의 부적상관이 있음이 확인되었다. 소음환경이 높을수록 공동체의식은낮게 나타났다. 반면 소음환경이 공동체의식, 이웃유대 및 공격성에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 단순회귀분석을실시한 결과, 소음환경이 공동체의식에 미치는 영향력에서 소음환경이 높아질수록 공동체의식이 낮아지는 것으로나타났다. 결론에서는 공동주택 거주민의 갈등요인과 해결방안 위한 이론적 실천적 정책적 함의를 다루었다.

영문 초록

This study was a mixed study targeting residents living in an apartment complex. In this study, a mixed method using qualitative and quantitative research methods was used. The qualitative study was conducted with 9 apartment dwellers who experienced inter-floor noise, and the quantitative study used 300 apartment dwellers, and an explanatory sequential design linking the two data was used (Creswell & Clark, 2017). Participants in the qualitative study conducted an in-depth interview with 9 residents who had experience of damage, who were exposed to noise between floors. In order to solve the inter- floor noise problem, the subjective experiences experienced by apartment dwellers are described as vivid experiences by adopting the Giorgi phenomenological research method. The collected raw data were analyzed to show accurate description through the four-stage method of Giorgi’s technical phenomenology. As a result of the analysis, the intrinsic central themes derived from the conflict factors between floors and the problem-solving experience of apartment dwellers were (1)Conflict factors of lack of sense of community (2)Conflict factors in daily life (3)Conflict factors causing stress (4)Attempt to solve the problem through negotiation (5)Neighborhood relationship that understands each other (6)Expression of a sense of community (7) Start an active community life. In the quantitative study, the relationship between noise and aggression was investigated, and the relationship between the sense of community and the ties with neighbors in conflict resolution solutions was investigated. As a result, it was confirmed that the noise environment had a negative correlation with the sense of community. The higher the noise environment, the lower the sense of community. On the other hand, as a result of a simple regression analysis to find out the effect of noise environment on community consciousness, neighbor bonds and aggression, it was found that the higher the noise environment, the lower the sense of community. In conclusion, the conflict factors of apartment dwellers and their theoretical, practical, and policy implications for solutions were dealt with.
