간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향과 간호과정 수행능력이 문제해결과정에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 간호과정 수행능력과 문제해결과정의 관계를 파악하고자 시도된 서술적 조사연구이다. 방법 이를 위하여 D광역시 소재 간호대학의 교내실습 교과목 이수 경험이 있는 2, 3, 4학년 간호대학생 289명을 대상으로 2019년 11월 25일부터 11월 29일까지 자가보고형 설문지를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/Win 22.0 program을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA 및 Scheffé test, Pearson’s 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 결과 간호대학생의 문제해결과정은 평균 3.64점이었으며, 비판적 사고성향은 평균 3.70점, 간호과정 수행능력은 평균 3.55점이었다. 그리고 문제해결과정은 비판적 사고성향, 간호과정 수행능력과 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 문제해결과정에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 비판적 사고성향(β=.54, p<.001), 간호과정 수행능력(β=.38, p<.001) 순으로 나타났으며 이 요인들의 설명력은 65.0%였다. 결론 본 연구결과를 토대로 간호대학생의 문제해결과정을 높이기 위하여 간호교육에서 비판적 사고성향, 간호과정 수행능력을 통합적으로 고려한 교육 프로그램을 마련해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study is a descriptive research study that attempts to understand the relationship between nursing students critical thinking disposition, nursing process competence, and problem solving process. Methods Data were collected using self-report questionnaires from November 25 to November 29, 2019 from 289 second, third, and fourth year nursing students who had experience taking in-school practical courses at a nursing college located in D city. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and Scheffé test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS/Win 22.0 program. Results The mean score for problem solving process in nursing students was 3.64 points, the mean score for critical thinking disposition was 3.70 points and the mean score for nursing process competence was 3.55 points. Problem solving process had a significant correlation with critical thinking disposition and nursing process competence. Factors that had an influence on problem solving process in multiple regression were critical thinking disposition(β=.54, p<.001) and nursing process competence(β=.38, p<.001). These factors explained 65.0% of the variance in the problem solving process of nursing students. Conclusions These findings indicate that there is a need to increase critical thinking disposition and nursing process competence to improve the problem solving process of nursing students. The results should be reflected in the development of an effective curriculum.
