국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 현재까지 개발된 인공지능의 음악적 기능을 고찰하고, 음악수업에서 활용 가능한 인공지능 기반 음악도구를 탐색하여 학교 현장에서의 적용 가능성을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법 문헌연구를 통해 인공지능의 이론적 내용을 살펴보고 조사연구를 통해 인공지능의 핵심기능이 구현된 음악기능의 실제를 정리하여 초중등학교 음악수업에 활용 가능한 방안을 탐색하였다. 결과 인공지능의 5대 기능(인식, 예측, 자동화, 소통, 생성기능)을 중심으로 각 기능에서의 음악적인 기능을 조사하였으며, 연구결과는 미래 음악교육을 위한 기초자료를 제공할 뿐만 아니라 다양한 음악수업에서 활용할 수 있는 실제적이고 구체적인 방안을 제시한다. 결론 인공지능 기반 음악도구들은 음악수업에서 다양한 방식으로 활용될 수 있고 긍정적인 학습효과를 기대할 수 있어 그 활용도는 점차 증가할 것으로 전망된다. 하지만 인공지능 기반 음악도구를 활용하기 위해서는 다양한 음악도구들에 대한 분명한 이해와 음악수업의 전 과정에서 교사의 역할이 매우 중요하다는 인식이 필요하다. ‘AI 기반 음악도구’라는 새로운 학습 도구를 제시한 본 연구가 미래교육을 준비하는 교사들에게 도움이 되고 이와 관련된 후속 연구를 활성화시키는 토대가 될 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the musical functions of artificial intelligence developed thus far, and to propose the applicability of AI-based music tools in music classes in elementary and middle schools. Methods The theoretical contents of artificial intelligence were examined through a review of the literature. Additionally, the actual music function, which is realized through the main functions of artificial intelligence, was researched and then the results were summarized. Finally, methods that could be used for music classes in elementary and middle schools were explored. Results The musical functions were investigated focusing on the 5 functions of artificial intelligence (recognition, prediction, automation, communication, and generation). The results of this study not only provide basic data for future music education, but also suggest practical and specific ideas that can be used in all types of music classes. Conclusions AI-based music tools can be used in various ways in music classes and have positive learning effects, so their prevalence is expected to gradually increase. However, in order to use AI-based music tools, it is necessary to have a clear understanding of them and to recognize that the teacher’s role in the music class is very important. This study, which presented new learning tools called ‘AI-based music tools’, is expected to be helpful to teachers preparing for future education and to serve as a basis for stimulating related follow-up research.
