국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 영유아교육기관 교사의 직무스트레스와 영유아권리존중 실행 간의 관계에서 원장의 진성리더십이 매개효과가 있는지에 대해 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위해 부산광역시와 경상남도에 소재한 영유아교육기관 교사 400명 중 최종 선정된 383명을 대상으로 Pearson 상관분석과 Baron과 Kenny(1986)가 제시한 3단계 회귀분석을 실시한 후 매개효과의 유의도를 검증하기 위하여 Sobel test를 실시하였다. 결과 자료 분석 결과 첫째, 교사의 직무스트레스와 영유아권리존중실행 및 원장의 진성리더십 간에는 유의미한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 영유아교육기관 교사의 직무스트레스와 영유아권리존중 실행 간의 관계에서 원장의 진성리더십이 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이는 영유아교육기관을 운영하고 있는 원장들에게는 리더로서의 역할이 얼마나 중요한지에 대해 다시 한 번 인식할 수 있는 기회를 제공하여 스스로를 돌아보고 교사들의 직무스트레스를 적절하게 지지해 줌으로써 아동학대를 줄이는데 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the director s genuine leadership has a mediating effect in the relationship between job stress and respect for infant rights of teachers in infant and child education institutions. Methods For this purpose, Pearson s correlation analysis and a three-step regression analysis suggested by Baron and Kenny (1986) were performed on 383 teachers who were finally selected out of 400 teachers of early childhood education institutions located in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do. Sobel test was conducted to verify the significance of the mediating effect. Results As a result of data analysis, first, it was found that there was a significant correlation between the teacher s job stress, the execution of respect for infant rights, and the director s genuine leadership. Second, it was found that the director s genuine leadership had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between job stress and respect for infant rights of teachers in infant and child education institutions. Conclusions This is expected to have a positive effect on reducing child abuse by providing directors who operate infant education institutions with an opportunity to recognize once again how important their role as leaders is and properly supporting teachers job stress.
