예비유아교사 대상 디자인사고 적용 수업모형 개발

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 예비유아교사 대상 디자인사고 적용 수업모형을 개발하기 위한 것이다. 방법 디자인사고 관련 문헌을 고찰하여 이론적 준거와 모형시안에 반영할 사항을 도출한 후 이를 토대로 모형 시안을 구성하였다. 구성된 모형 시안의 현장 적용 가능성 및 문제점을 파악하기 위하여 2020년 9월에 유아교육 전문가 8인의 적합성 검증을 실시하였으며, 2020년 10월 첫째 주부터 2020년 12월 첫째 주까지 10주 동안 본 연구자가 담당한 ｢유아과학교육｣ 수업에 적용하였다. 전문가 적합성 검증 및 예비유아교사 대상 시안적용 결과를 분석하여 개선사항과 모형 최종안에 반영할 사항을 도출한 후 이를 토대로 모형 최종안을 제시하였다. 결과 최종 제시된 디자인사고 적용 수업모형은 운영의 기본방향과 실제로 구성하였다. 운영방향으로는 일상 및 유아교육 현장의 문제 포함, 서론 다른 관점 및 배경을 지닌 동료 및 전문가 간 협력, 학습자 중심의 팀 기반 학습 적용, 허용적이며 도전과 실패를 두려워하지 않는 수업 분위기 조성을 제시하였다. 운영의 실제로는 예비유아교사들이 창의성, 협업, 공감, 융합 등의 미래 역량을 함양하도록 구성하였다. 이를 위한 단계로는 사전안내, 공감, 문제정의, 아이디어화, 프로토타입, 테스트를 기본으로 하되, 공감과 문제정의, 아이디어와 프로토타입이 반복적으로 순환하도록 10회기로 구성하였다. 또한 디자인사고를 실제 수업에 적용할 때 쉽게 활용 가능하도록 각 회기별 내용 및 학습자와 교수의 역할을 구체적으로 제시하였다. 결론 본 연구에서 개발한 디자인사고 적용 수업모형을 예비유아교사 양성과정에서 활용함으로써 미래 유아교사에게 요구되는 창의, 융합, 공감, 협업, 문제해결역량을 함양하도록 지원할 뿐만 아니라 더 나아가 유아교육 현장에서 유아의 미래 역량을 함양하는 교육을 실천하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to develop a class model with applying design thinking for early childhood preservice teachers. Methods Theoretical criteria and contents were derived from the review on the literature related to design thinking, which was a basis for constructing the model draft. Then, to identify the problems and possibilities to apply the model to the educational field, the drafts was validated by 8 early childhood education experts in the September of 2020, and was applied to the early childhood science education course taught by the first author from the first week of October to the first week of December, 2020. The final model was developed by modifying the draft reflecting the data from the applied course as well as the validation of the experts. Results The final model consists of the basic direction and practice in carrying out the class with applying design thinking to. The content of the direction suggests including problems in daily life of the students and early childhood education, cooperating between colleagues and experts with different perspectives and backgrounds, applying learner-centered team-based learning, and creating a permissive class atmosphere to encourage not to be afraid of challenges and failures. The content of practice suggests pre-service teachers should cultivate competencies for future such as creativity, collaboration, empathy, and convergence. To do this, the model consists of 10-cyclical-and-repeated sessions of the steps of empathy, problem definition, and idea and prototype based on guidance, empathy, problem definition, ideation, prototype, and test. Furthermore, the contents of each session and the roles of learners and instructors are presented in detail so that design thinking can be easily used when applying it to actual classes. Conclusions The model can contribute to developing creativity, collaboration, convergence, empathy, cooperation, and problem-solving capacity for pre-service teachers as well as to improve the future capacities of young children in the field of early childhood education.
