제4차 표준보육과정에 따른 보육교직원의 놀이실행에 대한 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 놀이지원자로서 어린이집 교사와 원장을 포함한 보육교직원의 놀이실행에 대한 운영실태를 파악하였다. 방법 이를 위해 서울과 경기 소재 어린이집원장 51명과 교사 211명, 총 262명을 대상으로 놀이실행에 대한 온라인 설문을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계와 빈도분석, ANOVA, Scheffé tests를 사용하여 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 대다수의 보육교직원들은 제4차 표준보육과정에서 강조하고 있는 ‘놀이중심’과 ‘유아중심’의 보육과정을 토대로 놀이실행을 하고 있었다. 둘째, 기관 유형을 제외하고 보육교직원의 연령과 학력, 지위 그리고 경력에 따라 놀이실행의 유의미한 차이가 존재하였다. 셋째, 보육교직원이 인식하는 어려움은 표준보육과정 운영 능력의 부족(53.9%)이 가장 높았으며, 자원지원의 한계(25.5%), 개별성 인정·존중(11.8%), 인식의 차이(4.8%), 기타(3.9%)의 순으로 나타났다. 결론 놀이실행이 안정적으로 이루어지고 있다는 결과는 매우 고무적이다. 제4차 표준보육과정의 목적을 실현하기 위해서는 영유아, 교사, 원장, 부모, 지역사회가 함께 노력하는 자세가 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, the operation status of the childcare faculty members as play supporters was identified. Methods An online survey was conducted on 51 heads of daycare centers and 211 teachers located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and frequency analysis, ANOVA and Scheffé tests. Results First, most of the childcare faculty members were playing based on the ‘play-oriented’ and ‘young children-centered’ childcare curriculum emphasized in the fourth standard childcare curriculum. Second, except for the type of institution, there was a significant difference in play implementation according to the age, educational background, status, and career of childcare faculty members. Third, the lack of ability to operate the standard childcare process (53.9%) was the highest in the recognition of childcare faculty members, followed by the limit of resource support (25.5%), individuality recognition and respect (11.8%), differences in perception (4.8%), and others (3.9%). Conclusions The result of stable play is very encouraging. In order to realize the purpose of the 4th standard childcare process, it is necessary for young children, teachers, principals, parents, and local communities to work together.
