고교학점제 도입에 따른 진로와 직업 교육과정의 과제와 개선 방향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 고교학점제 도입에 따른 고등학교 진로와 직업 교육과정의 쟁점이나 과제를 파악하고, 2022년 학점제형 교육과정으로의 개정에 있어 고려해야 할 개선 방향을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위해 2015 개정 진로와 직업 교육과정 문서 분석, 진로교육 및 진로와 직업 교과서 연구·개발 전문가 자문 회의, 고교학점제 3년차 연구학교에서 진로와 직업을 담당해 온 교사들을 대상으로 한 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 등을 진행하였다. 결과 연구 결과, 학생의 과목 선택권이 강조됨에 따라 기존의 진로진학교육 이상으로 과목에 대한 이해와 수강신청, 학점제 기반 학업 및 진로 지도와 설계 등에 대한 요구가 증가하며, 이에 따라 진로와 직업 과목의 위상과 역할, 성격과 목표, 교육내용, 평가 방식 등에 대한 재검토가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구에서는 진로와 직업 과목을 필수 이수하도록 하는 방안, 창의적 체험활동과 차별화되고 실제적이고 미래지향적인 성격과 내용 구성, 학습 질 제고를 위한 성취평가제 적용 검토 등을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to identify issues or tasks in the high school career and vocational curriculum following the introduction of the high school credit system, and to suggest improvement directions to be considered in the revision of the 2022 revised national curriculum. Methods For this, not only the 2015 revised career and vocational curriculum documents were analyzed, but also experts’ advisory opinions were collected. Also, the operating conditions of the career and vocational curriculum were identified from the teachers of high school credit system research schools. Results As a result of the study, as students’ choice of subjects is emphasized, the demand for understanding of courses, course selection and registration, and credit system-based academic and career guidance and design, etc. are increasing beyond the existing career education. So, it was found that a review of roles, characteristics and goals, educational contents, and evaluation methods of career and vocational curriculum are necessary. Conclusions Finally, considering to make mandatory completion of the career and vocational course, organizing practical and future-oriented characteristics and contents differentiated from creative experience activities, and reviewing the application of the achievement standards-based assessment system to improve the quality of students learning were proposed.
