중학교 수학 수업의 학생 참여와 협력적 문제해결 실태 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 학생 참여 수학 수업의 질 제고를 위해 중학교 학생 참여 수학 수업에 대한 교사의 인식과 협력적 문제해결 수학 수업의 운영 실태를 분석하는 것이다. 방법 협력적 문제해결과 학생 참여형 수학 수업 실태 조사를 위한 설문 문항을 개발하여 전국 중학교 수학 교사를 대상으로 지필설문과 온라인 설문을 병행하여 조사하였다. 최종 응답 인원은 60명이었고 조사 결과는 빈도 분석, 교차 분석하였고, 리커트 척도 문항은 평균, 표준편차로 분석하였다. 결과 학생 참여 수학 수업에 대한 교사의 인식과 그 운영 실태, 협력적 문제해결을 위한 학생 참여 수학 수업의 운영 실태, COVID-19 대응 원격수업에서의 학생 참여 수업 현황, 협력적 문제해결을 위한 학생 참여 수학 수업의 활성화 방안을 살펴보았다. 또한 학생 참여형 수학 수업에서 실시하는 협력적 문제해결 활동 유형을 인지적 기능을 가진 활동과 사회적 기능을 가진 활동으로 구분하여 그 활용 정도를 살펴보았다. 결론 본 연구에서는 분석 결과를 바탕으로 학생 참여 수학 수업의 질 제고 방안으로 학생 참여형 수학 수업 핵심 요소 선정 및 수업 개선 지표로 활용, 협력적 문제해결 신장을 위한 교수학습방법 및 학습 과제 개발, 교사학습공동체의 구축 지원을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze teachers perceptions of middle school student-engaged instruction mathematics classes and the operation of collaborative problem solving mathematics classes in order to improve the quality of student-engaged instruction in middle school mathematics. Methods Questionnaires on collaborative problem solving and student-engaged instruction in mathematics classes were developed, and a paper-based questionnaire and an online questionnaire were conducted concurrently with middle school mathematics teachers. The final number of responses was 60 people, and the results were analyzed by frequency analysis and cross-analysis, and Likert scale items were analyzed by means and standard deviations. Results Teachers perception and operation of student-engaged instruction in math classes, the operation of student-engaged instruction in math classes for collaborative problem solving were investigated. We looked at the current status of student engagement in distance learning in the COVID-19 situation and ways to activate student-engaged instruction math classes for collaborative problem solving. Conclusions As a way to improve the quality of student-engaged instruction mathematics classes, it was suggested to select key elements of student-engaged instruction mathematics classes and use them as indicators of class improvement, develop teaching and learning methods and learning tasks to promote collaborative problem solving, and support the establishment of a teacher-learning community.
