유아 언어교육프로그램 관련 국내 연구 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 유아 언어교육프로그램 관련 국내 학술지 연구를 분석하여 이에 대한 기초자료를 제공하기 위함이다. 방법 2001년 1월부터 2020년 12월까지 국내 학술지논문에 게재된 51편의 논문을 대상으로 분석하였다. 구체적으로 유아 언어교육프로그램의 유형은 내용의 유사성과 차이성에 따라 분류분석을 실시하였고, 그 외 유아 언어교육프로그램의 체계, 적용, 효과, 효과검증방법에 대하여는 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다. 결과 첫째, 연구시기별로 살펴보면 2001년부터 2020년까지 유아 언어교육프로그램과 관련된 국내 학술지 연구의 수는 증가와 하락을 반복하고 있으며, 그 수는 미흡한 수준으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아 언어교육프로그램의 유형에서는 언어와 관련된 특정활동 및 매체를 활용한 연구가 가장 많이 수행된 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아 언어교육프로그램 체계에 대한 분석에서는 프로그램의 목표, 내용, 활동유형, 교수학습원리, 교사의 역할을 제시하지 않은 경우가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 유아 언어교육프로그램의 적용에 대한 분석 결과 만 5세 유아를 대상으로 한 경우가 가장 많았으며, 2개의 집단으로 구성하여 그중 하나의 집단에 프로그램을 적용한 경우가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 유아 언어교육프로그램의 효과 분석에서는 말하기, 읽기, 듣기, 쓰기와 관련된 효과를 검증하고자 한 경우가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 유아 언어교육프로그램의 효과검증 방법 분석결과, 차이분석방법을 가장 많이 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 유아 언어교육프로그램 관련 연구의 동향을 분석하여 프로그램의 유형, 체계, 적용, 효과, 효과분석방법에 대해 분석함으로써, 향후 연구에서 유아 언어교육프로그램의 체계화를 도모하고, 발전적 방향성을 제시하였다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study is to analyze the studies in domestic journals related to the language education program for young children and to provide a basic data for them. Methods It was analyzed with 51 studies published in the journals from January 2001 to December 2020. Specifically, the type of language education program for young children was classified and analyzed according to the similarity and difference of contents. And, in addition, frequency and percentage were calculated for the system, application, effect, and effect verification methods of language education programs for young children. Results First, according to the period of study, the number of studies in domestic journals related to the language education program for young children from 2001 to 2020 were repeatedly increased and declined, and the number was shown to be insufficient. Second, according to the type of the language education program for young children, it was found that the researches using specific activities and media related to language were mostly conducted. Third, in the analysis on system of the language education program for young children, it was found that the program s goal, content, activity type, teaching and learning principle, and the role of teachers were not presented in the most frequent cases. Fourth, as a result of the analysis on the application of the language education program for young children, it was found that the most common case was for 5-year-old children, and the program was applied to one of the groups by organizing two groups. Fifth, in the analysis on the effects of the language education program fro young children, it was found that most of them tried to verify the effects related to speaking, reading, listening, and writing. Sixth, as a result of the analysis on the effectiveness verification method of the language education program for young children, it was found that the difference analysis methods were used the most. Conclusions This study is meaningful in as it aims to promote the systematization of the language education programs and to suggest developmental direction by analyzing the trends of research.
