상호문화적 찾아가는학교통일교육에 대한 사례연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 통일부 국립통일교육원에서 진행하는 찾아가는학교통일교육의 어려움과 문제점을 살펴보고 상호문화적인 관점에서 수업에 대한 개선방안을 제시하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 찾아가는학교통일교육을 담당한 경험이 있는 현직교사 4명과 남북한 출신 활동강사 6명을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였고, 문헌연구와 참여관찰, 심층 면담, 사례분석 및 귀납적 범주 분석을 실시하였다. 찾아가는학교통일교육이라는 단일적 사례가 직면해 있는 상황에서 해결하고자 하는 문제가 무엇인지 파악하고 이에 대한 개선 방안을 파악하였다. 결과 이에 찾아가는학교통일교육을 진행한 현직교사와 활동강사들은 교육의 목표와 내용, 방법적 측면에서 일방적이고 단편적인 접근 등의 여러 문제점을 경험하고 있으며, 이에 대한 나름의 개선방안을 인식하고 있음이 도출되었다. 이를 바탕으로 상호문화적 찾아가는학교통일교육의 목표와 방향, 내용, 방법 그리고 개선방안과 교수학습지도안을 제시하였다. 결론 연구를 통하여 상호문화적 학교통일교육에 대한 학문적 가치를 제시하였고, 현직교사와 활동강사들의 인식을 분석함으로써 학교현장에서 적용하여 실천할 수 있는 수업의 모형을 제안하였다는 데에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, the difficulties and problems of Unification Education for Visiting Schools conducted by the National Institute for Unification Education of the Ministry of Unification were investigated, and measures for improvement were suggested in terms of intercultural perspectives. Methods To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted with 4 incumbent teachers with experience in Unification Education for Visiting Schools and 6 active instructors from North and South Korea, and Literature study, participatory observation, in-depth interview, case analysis, and inductive category analysis were conducted. In the context of a single case of visiting school unification education, we identified the problems to be solved and ways to improve them. Results Therefore, incumbent teachers and active instructors who conducted the visiting school unification education are experiencing various problems such as a one sided and fragmented approach in terms of the goals, contents and methods of education, and they are aware of their own ways to improve them was derived. Based on this, the goal, direction, content, method, improvement plan, and teaching and learning guidance plan of intercultural visiting school unification education were presented. Conclusions Through research, the academic value of intercultural school unification education was presented. In addition, it is significant in that by analyzing the perceptions of incumbent teachers and active instructors, a model of instruction that can be applied and practiced in the school field was proposed.
