대학생의 지속가능발전교육 참여 여부에 따른 ‘가능한 기여’ 인식의 차이

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대학생의 지속가능발전목표 교육 참여에 따른 ‘가능한 기여’의 차이를 네트워크 텍스트 분석을활용하여 확인하고자 하는 것이었다. 본 연구의 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지속가능발전목표 교육 참여 여부에 따른 지속가능발전목표에 대한 ‘가능한 기여’의 빈도는 어떠한가?, 둘째, 지속가능발전목표 교육 참여 여부에따른 지속가능발전목표에 대한 ‘가능한 기여’의 연결 중심성은 어떠한가?, 셋째, 지속가능발전목표 교육 참여 여부에 따른 지속가능발전목표에 대한 ‘가능한 기여’의 관계성은 어떠한가?였다. 이를 위하여 고등교육 수준에서 교양교과목 수준에서 지속가능발전교육에 참여한 대학생 49명과 지속가능발전교육에 참여한 적이 없는 대학생 42명이기술한 키워드 403개를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지속가능발전 교육 참여에 상관없이 봉사활동, 캠페인 참여, 기부활동, 인식교육, 정책 참여는 두 집단 모두에서 ‘가능한 기여’의 핵심 키워드로 나타났다. 둘째, 두 개 집단이 공통적으로 지속가능발전을 위해 기여할 수 있는 바로 봉사활동, 캠페인 참여, 일상 속실천 등의 핵심 키워드를 중심으로 동질화된 경향성이 도출되었지만 연결 중심성에서는 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 지속가능발전교육을 중심으로 도출된 참여/미참여의 전체 구조를 시각화한 지도에서 두 개 집단이 공통적으로 지속가능발전을 위해 기여할 수 있는 바가 전반적으로 동질성을 띠고 있지만 세부적인 관계성 측면에서 차이가 있는것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 지속가능발전교육의 효과로써 대학생 수준에서 실천할 수 있는 ‘가능한 기여’를 중심으로 연구를 수행하였다는데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify differences in ‘possible contributions’ from university students’ participation in sustainable development education using network text analysis. The research issues of this study are as follows. First, what is the frequency of possible contributions to sustainable development objectives depending on their participation in education on sustainable development objectives?, Second, what is the centrality of the connection of possible contributions to sustainable development objectives depending on their participation in education on sustainable development objectives? Third, what is the relationship of ‘possible contributions’ to sustainable development objectives depending on their participation in education on sustainable development objectives? For this purpose, 403 keywords by 49 college students who participated in education related to sustainable development goals at the level of liberal arts subjects and 42 college students who had never participated in education related to sustainable development goals were analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. First, regardless of participation in sustainable development education, volunteer activities, campaign participation, donation activities, awareness education, and policy participation have emerged as core keywords for possible contributions in both groups. Second, homogenous trends were derived around core keywords such as volunteer work, campaign participation, and everyday practice that the two groups could contribute to sustainable development in common, but differences were found in connection centrality. Third, the results of connectivity guidance visualizing the overall structure of participation/non-participation derived around sustainable development target education show that the two groups can contribute to sustainable development in general, but differences were found in terms of detailed relationships. It was meaningful that the research was conducted focusing on “possible contributions” that can be implemented at the university students’ level as an effect of education to achieve the sustainable development goals of this study.
