이날치 밴드 ‘범 내려온다’를 활용한 음악융합수업 설계와 적용

국문 초록

한국관광공사가 제작한 ‘필 더 리듬 오브 코리아(Feel the rhythm of Korea)’의 영상은 한국적인 고유한 리듬을 느낄 수 있는 좋은 사례로 해당영상은 유튜브를 통해 세계적인 관심을 받았다. 이 중 서울편의 ‘범 내려온다’의경우 판소리가 박자의 소프트 EDM과 결합된 독특한 음악인데, 이것은 한국의 고유한 혼소박 4박자의 엇모리장단으로 된 전통 판소리를 편곡한 것이기 때문이다. 이처럼 혼소박장단의 음악이 균등박음악으로 편곡된 사례는 글로벌 차원에서 한국음악을 교육 시 리듬의 특수성을 비교해 보기 좋은 교육용 콘텐츠로 활용 될 수 있다. 따라서본 연구는 한국의 혼소박 음악의 고유성 및 두곡의 리듬층위구조를 비교 분석하여 융합수업을 위한 이론적 기반을마련하고, 이를 바탕으로 교수학습방법을 제안하였다. 전통판소리 ‘범 내려온다’ 엇모리장단의 연원은 높게는 신라시대 830년경 범패로까지 그 연원이 올라갈 만큼 오래된 우리나라 고유한 전통음악요소이다. 엇모리장단은 서양악보로 표기한다면 박자가 아닌 <3/2혼소박 4박자>(소박단위에서 불균등하고 보통박 단위에서 균등한)로 표기 되어야 할 것이다. 고든에 의해 정리된 서양음악의박자체계를 활용해 설명하면 2,3마이크로비트 4매크로비트 미터에 해당하는 것이다. ‘범 내려온다’를 수업에 활용할 때에는 엇모리장단이라는 특수성으로 인해 리듬학습위계를 정하고 먼저 2박자계와 3박자계의 장단을 각각 학습한 후에 혼소박장단인 엇모리장단 교육을 하는 것이 바람직해 보이고, ‘월드컵 응원 박수’ 등을 선수학습으로 활용하는 것도 좋은 사례가 될 것이다. 다음 단계로는 신체활동으로 어깨춤과 같은간단한 동작을 통해 리듬 구조를 느끼고, 배운 노래를 부르며 가사를 정간보에 역보하며 학습을 심화하고, 정간보에 개사하는 창작 활동을 통해 학습을 명료화 하는 단계로 학습할 것을 제안한다. ‘범 내려온다’ 학습의 마지막단계로 혼소박장단인 엇모리장단의 불균등박자에 내재된 이면성은 영화 <미션 임파서블>의 박자 주제가와 함께비교하면 더욱 명확하게 경험할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구와 일련의 제안들은 학습자들로 하여금 한국음악의 혼소박장단이 가진 오랜 전통과 고유성을 확인하게해주며, 종종 박자로 오인되고 있는 불균등박자인 혼소박 4박 장단의 음악적 차이를 구분할 수 있게 해주어 결과적으로는 각 개인의 음악적 역량을 높여주는데 기여할 것이다.

영문 초록

The video of “Feel the rhythm of Korea”, produced by the Korea Tourism Organization, is a good example of Korean unique rhythm, and the video received global attention through YouTube. Among them, the Seoul version of “Beom comes down” combines soft EDM with four-four beats, forming a unique rhythm structure because it is an arrangement of traditional pansori with enmori jangdan, which is unique to traditional Korean music. The case in which the music of the honsobak is arranged into even music can be used as an educational content that is good to compare the specificity of rhythm in education at the global level. Therefore, this study compared the uniqueness of Korean honsobak music and the rhythm hierarchy of two songs to lay the theoretical foundation for convergence classes and proposed a teaching method based on this. The origin of the traditional pansori “Beom comes down” enmori jangdan is proven to be unique enough to go up to Beompae around 830 during the Silla Period. If the rhythm is written in Western music, it should be written in <3/2 mixed beats> (uneven in small beats and even in regular beats) rather than beats. Using the beat system of Western music organized by Gordon, it is equivalent to two or three microbeats and four macrobeats. When using “Beom comes Down” in class, it would be a good example to set the rhythm learning hierarchy, learn the rhythm of the two and three beats first respectively, and then use the mixed rhythm of “World Cup Applause” as a player learning. The next step is to feel the rhythmic structure through simple movements such as shoulder dance with physical activity, to sing learned songs and reverse the lyrics to jeongganbo, to deepen learning, and to clarify learning through creative activities that are adapted to jeongganbo. As the last step in learning “Beom comes down” the structural musical feelings to the unequal beat of the enmori jangdan, can be experienced more clearly by utilizing the theme song of the movie “Mission Impossible.” This study and a series of suggestions will help learners identify the long tradition and uniqueness of Korean music, often mistaken for beats, and thus enhance each person’s musical skills.
