국문 초록

이 논문은 네스와 스피노자의 인식과 실천의 관계를 정립한 후 그 실천가능성을 증명하는 것이다. 그리고 이들의 인식과 실천의 관계에 기반을 둔 네스의 미적행위 개념을 분석함으로써 네스의 심층생태학의 미학적 실천 가능성을 고찰하는 것이다. 결과적으로 본 논문은 다음의 결론을 도출한다. 첫째, 심층생태학의 최고 규범인 생태중심주의와 자기실현의 개념은 스피노자의 본성과 역량의 동일성이라는 논제에 근거해 그것의 인식과 실천의 가능성이 성립한다. 이러한 논의를 기반으로 둘째, 생태지혜T는 큰 자기실현의 과정에서 생태경험을 통한 개인의 지침으로 나아갈때 형성되는 것으로 임의의 도덕적 실천 개념을 필연적으로 요청하지 않는 미적행위에 근거한다. 마지막으로 셋째, 네스의 심층생태학은 도덕적이고 윤리적인 행위의 촉구보다는 생태감수성이라는 미적행위를 통한 미학적 실천을 추구한다는 점에서 미학적 실천 가능성을 확장시키고 있다.

영문 초록

This thesis establishes the relationship between cognition and practice of Naess and Spinoza, and then proves its practicality. After analyzing the conceptof Naess’ beautiful actions based on the relationship between their cognition and practice, it then examines the possibility of aesthetic practice of Naess’ deep ecology. On observing the results, this thesis draws the following conclusions. First, the concept of ecocentrism and self-realization, which is the highest norm of deep ecology, is based on the theory of the identity of Spinoza s nature and potentia, thereby establishing the possibility of their recognition and practice. Based on this discussion, second, ecosophyT is formed when advancing toward individual guidelines through ecological experience in the process of Self-realization, and is based on the beautiful actions that do not inevitably require any moral practice concept. Third, Naess’ deep ecology expands on the possibility of aesthetic practice. It pursues aesthetic practice through the beautiful actions of ecological sensibility rather than the urge of moral and ethical actions.
