‘자기 글 분석’을 통한 고쳐쓰기 지도 방안

국문 초록

본고에서는 대학 글쓰기에서 대한 학습을 바탕으로 글쓰기 과정에 대한 이해 증진과 고쳐쓰기의 중요성 인식 제고를 목표로 하는 ‘자기 글 분석’ 수업을 설계하고, 그 효과성을 확인하고자하였다. ‘자기 글 분석’은 자신의 글을 객관화하여 바라보게 하는 것을 1차적 목적으로 하며, 초고와 고쳐쓰기를 거친 글을 비교·분석해서 살피고, 글쓰기 전체 과정에 대해 스스로 점검하는 가운데 자기 글의 변화를 직접 확인하는 내용으로 구성된다. ‘초고쓰기→교수자 첨삭→1차 수정→자기 첨삭→2차 수정→자기 글 분석→정리 및 발표→완성글’으로 이어지는 ‘자기 글 분석’ 방법을2020년 2학기 비대면 강의에 적용하고, 설문조사를 통해 학습자들의 반응을 확인한 결과 학습자들 대부분이 ‘자기 글 분석’이 글쓰기에 도움이 된다고 응답했다. ‘자기 글 분석’은 교수자에게학습자들이 글쓰기에서 가지는 고민을 직접 확인할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고, 학습자에게는 자신의 글을 대상화하여 분석하는 경험을 통해 자신의 글과 글쓰기 실력에 대해 가늠하게 한다는측면에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The current study designs a college-level writing class in self-analysis, whose goal is to enhance students’ understanding of the writing process and promote the awareness about the importance of revision. The class is developed based on the knowledge of learning patterns in college writing classes, and the current study also tests the effectiveness of the resulting class. the primary objective of self-analysis is to encourage students to objectively view their own writing; students compare and analyze their own writing that underwent drafting and revising, and they independently inspect the overall writing process as they confirm changes in their own writing. The self-analysis writing process is as follows: First draft →instructor review→first revision →self-review→ second revision →self-analysis →summary and presentation →complete writing. This method was applied to a remote writing lecure conducted during the second semester of 2020, and the learners were surveyed. Most learners answered that the self-analysis method helps improve their writing. Self-analysis provides an opportunity for instructors to lead learners to directly see their problems in writing. The method is significant in that it induces learners to objectify and analyze their own writing to measure their own writing and writing skills.
