대학 교양 글쓰기 온라인 수업에 대한 학습자 인식 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 COVID-19로 인해 2020년에 운영된 대학 교양 글쓰기 교과목의 비실시간온라인 수업과 실시간 온라인 수업에 대한 학습자 인식을 확인함으로써 앞으로 온라인 글쓰기수업의 방향성을 모색하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 경남 창원 소재의 C대학교에의 글쓰기 수업 수강생을 대상으로 1학기와 2학기에걸쳐 설문을 진행하였고 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교양 글쓰기 온라인 수업의 만족도는 비실시간 온라인 수업에 비해 실시간 온라인 수업에서 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 수업 내용, 교수자, 수업 환경, 글쓰기 역량 네 개의 영역으로 나누어보았을 때 수업 환경 영역이 다른 영역에 비해 차이가 크게 나타났다. 특히 수업 영상의 품질에대한 만족도가 크게 향상되었다. 셋째, 전체 항목 중 가장 큰 차이를 나타낸 것은 상호작용과관련된 것으로 학습자들은 실시간 온라인 수업에서 교수자와 학습자 사이에 상호작용이 다양하게이루어졌다고 인식하고 있었다. 이 결과를 통해 온라인 글쓰기 수업은 비실시간 온라인 수업보다는 실시간 온라인 수업 방식으로 진행하는 것이 더욱 효과적임을 확인하였다. 앞으로 온라인 글쓰기 수업의 효과를 향상시키기위해서는 글쓰기 피드백과 학습자와의 상호작용 활성화를 위한 다각적인 노력이 필요할 것이며이에 대한 실제적 방안 및 실천적인 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is finding out better ways for future online writing classes by identifying learners’ perception regarding asynchronous and synchronous online classes in 2020 which were organized due to COVID-19. The survey was conducted two times during the first and second semester by the writing class learners at C University in Changwon-si. The results are as follows. First, the satisfaction of the synchronous online writing class was higher than that of the asynchronous online class. Second, the learners were highly satisfied with the synchronous online class setting, especially, class video quality. Lastly, the learners thought that the interaction between the learners and the professor was noticeably satisfying in synchronous online writing class. Through the results of the study it was found out that synchronous online writing classes would be more effective than the asynchronous online writing ones. In order to improve online writing classes, it necessarily takes a variety of efforts on interaction between learners and professors and writing feedback. Also, more practical measures and further research should proceed in more detail.
