국문 초록

본 연구는 효과적인 신입생 교육을 위해 ADDIE 프로그램 개발 모델을 적용하여 K대학의 프로그램 개발 사례를 제시하였다. 신입생 교육은 대학에 첫발을 내딛는 신입생이 갑자기 달라진 학업환경과 교우관계에 적응하는데 도움을 주기 때문에 많은 대학에서 관심을 갖는 프로그램이다. 그러나 그동안 대학의 필요와 관점에서 일방적으로 제공되는 정보성 교육은 신입생의 호응과참여를 이끌어 내는데 한계에 부딪쳐왔다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 신입생 교육은 교육수요자인 신입생이 원하는 교육 요구점을 반영해야 함과 동시에 대학에서 필요로 하는 정보도적시에 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 첫째, 선행연구 분석을 통해 국내외 대학의신입생 교육의 흐름을 알아보았다. 둘째, K대학의 과거 신입생 교육의 결과를 분석하여 신입생과교수의 교육 요구점을 추출하였다. 셋째, 이를 ADDIE모형에 따라 분석-설계-개발 단계에 따라신입생 오리엔테이션 프로그램인 ‘동참형학기’로 개발하였다. 향후 실행 후 평가를 위해서 프로그램 각 모듈에 대한 평가지표를 제시하여 환류 할 계획을 포함시켰다.

영문 초록

This study presents a case of program development at K University by applying the ADDIE program development model for effective First-Year Experience(FYE). FYE is a program that many universities are interested in because it helps freshmen who take their first steps to college adapt to suddenly changed academic environment and friendship. However, information service education, which is provided unilaterally from the perspective of the needs of universities, has faced limitations in attracting new students’ responses and participation. To solve this problem, FYE should reflect the educational needs of freshmen, who are education consumers, while also being able to provide the information needed by universities in a timely manner. To this end, the study first examined the flow of freshmen education at universities in Korea and abroad through prior research analysis. Second, the educational requirements of freshmen and professors were extracted by analyzing the results of the K university’s past education. Third, it was developed as a ‘participatory semester’, an orientation program for freshmen, according to the analysis, design, and development stages according to the ADDIE model. For future post-execution evaluation, an evaluation index for each module of the program was presented to include a plan to reflex.
