농촌지역 청소년 여가프로그램 개발을 위한 여가활동 참여실태 및 선호도 조사 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 농촌지역 청소년 여가 프로그램 개발을 위해 여가활동 참여실태 및 선호도를 알아보고자 실시하였다. 연구대상은 전국 농촌지역 시군 청소년 664명이며, 자료수집은 2020년 6월 1일부터 8월 21일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였으며, 만족도와 프로그램 유형은 χ²검증 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 농촌지역 청소년은 기분 전환과 취미생활을 위해 여가활동에 참여하는 반면 미참여 청소년의 경우는 여가 프로그램이 부족해 참여하지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 가장 많이 참여하고 있는 여가활동은 게임활동과 운동이며, 농촌지역 시군 간에 만족도는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 여가활동 프로그램 선호 유형은 스포츠 활동, 여행활동, 취미오락활동 유형을 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 농촌지역 청소년의 여가활동 참여는 1회 참여시간은 1시간~2시간미만이며, 월 3회를 가장 선호하였다. 지출비용은 1~2만원미만과 주말과 공휴일에 친구와 함께 1주일 단위 새로운 프로그램 운영을 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 여가활동 참여를 통해 얻고자 하는 핵심가치는 대인관계 확대가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 농촌지역 청소년 여가 프로그램 개발을 위해 필요한 기초 자료로 제공하는데 가치가 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to find out present condition of participation in leisure time activities to develop leisure programs for youth residing in rural areas and preference. Participants in the study are six hundred and sixty four adolescents residing in rural and urban areas in South Korea. Frequency and percentage were calculated for collected data. χ² verification analysis was conducted for satisfaction level and program types. Findings of the study are as follows. Firstly, adolescents residing in rural areas participate in leisure activities for relaxation and pastime while those who did not participate in the activities did so due to the lack of programs. Leisure activities which they participated most are game and exercise. There is a difference in satisfaction level between adolescents residing in rural areas and those in urban areas. Secondly, in case of types preferred by participants with regard to leisure activity programs, sports activities, travel activities and pastime activities are preferred. Thirdly, for participation in leisure activities by adolescents residing in rural areas, it took one to two hours for them to participate in leisure activity. Frequency which they prefer most is three times a month. Expense which they prefer most is ten thousand to two thousand. It was found that they prefer a new program which runs by the week including weekend and holiday. Core value which they want to acquire by participating in leisure activities most is increase in interpersonal relation. Findings of the study imply that they are valuable as basic data to develop leisure programs for adolescents.
