명화를 활용한 수학활동이 유아의 수학적 태도와 수학적 개념에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 명화를 활용한 유아수학활동을 개발하여 6세 유아의 수학적 태도와 수학적 개념에 미치는 영향을 알아봄으로써 유아수학교육 교수법 개발에 기초자료를 제공하고자 하는데 있다. 연구 대상은 B시의 A유치원 실험집단 26명과 비교집단 25명 총 51명이다. 실험집단은 수학적 요소와 내용이 포함된 명화 10개를 사전활동으로 감상하고, 명화에 표현된 수학적 요소와 관련된 내용의 유아수학활동을 본 활동으로 실시하였다. 사전과 사후 유아의 수학적 태도와 수학적 개념을 검사 한 후, 수집된 자료를 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 이용하여 통계처리 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 명화를 활용한 유아수학활동은 유아의 수학적 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 명화를 활용한 유아수학활동은수학적 개념에 긍정적인 영향을 준 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 명화를 활용한 수학활동이 교육적 가치가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to suggest the educational effects of the math activities connected to famous paintings for young children. After drawing the direction of math activities connected to famous paintings for young children through literature research, total of 30 activities were developed including pre-activities, main math activities connected to famous paintings, and post-activities. The subjects were 26 5-year-old children from A kindergarten located in B city and the math activities connected to famous paintings for young children were conducted through 12 weeks. The results are as follows. First, children of experimental group involved in activities connected to famous paintings for young children showed high in mathematical attitude. Second, Children of experimental group involved in activities connected to famous paintings for young children showed high in mathematical concepts. Therefore, the math activities connected to famous paintings for young children should be considered as a meaningful alternative method for promoting children s mathematical attitude and concepts.
