유아수학교육 관련 교사 연구동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아수학교육과 관련된 교사의 연구동향을 분석하여, 수학 연구주제와 유아수학 교사교육의 방향성을 모색하는데 있다. 분석대상 자료는 2020년 6월을 기점으로 학술지에 수록된 유아수학교육 관련 교사 논문 88편을 중심으로 연구대상, 연구방법, 연구주제를 분석하고, 교사교육을 실시한 31편의 논문을 중심으로 교사교육접근법, 교수전략, 교육의 효과성을 분석하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구대상에서는 유아교사, 예비교사, 혼합대상, 영아교사와 문헌연구 순으로 나타났으며, 유아수학교육과 관련된 교사 연구는 시기별로 거의 비슷한 비중으로 이루어졌다. 또한, 연구방법으로는 양적연구, 질적연구, 혼합연구, 문헌연구 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구주제로는 유아수학교사교육과정 개발 및 적용, 수학교육에 대한 인식 및 실태, 교사의 수학 관련 변인간의 관련성 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교사교육 접근법의 일반적인 경향은 구성주의, 일상물 중심, 교수법의 차이를 적용한 순서로 나타났으며, 예비교사를 대상으로 가장 다양한 교수법을 적용하고, 영아교사에게는 구성주의 교수법만을 적용하였다. 또한 교수전략으로는 강의, 수업계획안 작성, 토의 및 토론, 반성적 저널쓰기, 모의수업 및 발표, 수업사례 분석과 동료평가 순으로 활용하였으며, 예비교사에게 가장 다양한 교수전략을 사용하였다. 넷째, 교사교육의 효과성으로 수학교육에 대한 동기 및 태도, 수학 지식, 수학교수 기술 순으로 측정한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study set out to analyze teachers research trends in early childhood mathematics education and thus search for the right directionality of math research topics and teachers education for early childhood mathematics education. Analyzed in the study were 88 papers published in journals according to subjects, methods, and topics. The study also analyzed 31 papers on teachers education according to approaches to teachers education, teaching strategies, and effectiveness of education. The findings were as follows: first, early childhood education teachers were the most popular subject, being followed by pre-service teachers, subjects of mixed research, teachers for infants, and literature study in the order. The most popular research method was quantitative research, which was followed by qualitative research, mixed research, and literature study in the order; second, the most popular topic was the development and application of a curriculum for math teachers, which was followed by the perceptions and actual state of math education and connections among teacher variables related to math in the order. The topics around the current state of math education tended to decrease gradually from the starting point of research; third, the most general trend in approaches to teachers education was the constructivist approach, which was followed by an approach around daily topics and another applying differences in teaching methods in the order. The most diverse teaching methods were applied to pre-service teachers, and only the constructivist one was applied to teachers for infants. Lectures were the most popular teaching strategy, being followed by lesson plans, discussions and debates, reflective journals, mock lessons and presentations, analysis of lesson cases, and peer evaluation in the order. The most diverse teaching strategies were used for pre-service teachers; and finally, the effectiveness of teachers education was most measured in motivations and attitudes for math education, which were followed by knowledge of math instruction and techniques of math instruction in the order.
