교육실습 플랫폼의 설계전략 탐색을 위한 요구분석

국문 초록

국내 교원양성기관의 교육실습 내실화가 꾸준히 요청되고 있다. 이번 연구는 선정한 한 교육대학교를 중심으로 기관의 교육실습 운영을 효율적으로 지원할 수 있는 온라인 시스템을 설계하기 위해 실습 협력학교들의 실습 과정에서의 디지털 매체 활용현황을 조사하고, 지원 플랫폼에 대한 잠재 사용자 집단의 요구를 비교 분석하였다. 두 차례에 걸쳐 교육실습 지원 플랫폼 구성요소에 대한 실습담당 교사 집단과 교육대 재학생 집단의 인식과 요구사항이 조사 분석되었다. 연구 결과, 교육실습에 대한 온라인 지원 시스템의 필요성이 재확인되었고, 지원 플랫폼 설계에 필요한 다섯 가지 전략이 도출되었다. 첫째, 실습생, 지도교사, 지도교수가 신속한 의사소통과 자료 전송이 가능하도록 모바일 어플리케이션과 연동되는 웹 시스템을 개발한다. 둘째, 교육실습생의 성찰활동을 중심으로 하는 온라인 커뮤니티의 활성화를 지원한다. 셋째, 역량기반의 온라인 학습관리 등 실습 사전교육을 강화하는 방안을 마련한다. 넷째, 교육실습 행정업무의 효율적 운영과 실습생 관리를 위한 지능적인 대시보드를 지원한다. 다섯째, 사용자 관점을 다각화하여 문제를 정확히 식별함으로써 교육실습 과정을 개선할 수 있도록 한다. 이번 연구는 교육실습 지원 플랫폼 설계의 기본방향을 제시하며, 교육실습 전반의 운영 체계화와 질적 개선을 위한 온라인의 역할 및 가능성에 대한 시각을 새롭게 확장해 줄 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

Teachers institutes in Korea have been called for quality improvement of teaching practicum. In order to design an online system to support running of practicum programs efficiently by a university of education selected, this study investigated the partner schools’ uses of digital tools during the practices, and comparatively analyzed potential user groups’ needs for platform supports. Two analyses were conducted to find about the recognitions of both groups-mentor teachers and the university’s students-about the platform, and their demands for its components. The results of the study reconfirmed the need for an online practicum support system, and derived five strategies for designing the platform. First, a web-based platform exchangeable with a mobile application should be developed to support the prompt communication and transmission of resources among student teachers, mentor teachers, and mentor professors. Second, it should facilitate an activation of online communities focusing on student teachers reflections in practicum. Third, it should strengthen practicum orientations, for instance by using competency-based online learning management tools. Fourth, it should make administration efficient and provide an intelligent dashboard for student management. Five, platform development should aim at improving teaching practicum based on accurate problem findings by diversifying the perspectives of users. This research gives a direction for the platform design, and is expected to expand our perspectives on the role of online support and its feasibility of systematization and quality improvement of teaching practicum.
