국문 초록

본 연구는 우수 육상지도자의 삶을 심층적으로 탐색하여 드러난 경험의 교육적 가치를 이해하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 유목적 표집법 중 결정적 사례 표집에 의해 ‘스포츠 선진국 지도자상’을 수상한 서울 S중학교 A육상 코치를 연구 참여자로 선정하여 연구를 진행하였다. 자료수집은 심층 면담을 통한 현장 텍스트를 주로 수집하였고, 수집된 자료는 내러티브 탐구의 절차와 방법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 이를 통해 나타난 연구 결과는 두 가지 범주, 6가지 세부 요인으로 도출되었다. 결론적으로, 첫째, 육상에 입문하면서 즐겁게 운동한 경험은 긍정적인 자기결정행동을 할 수 있게 하였으나, 학년이 오를수록 운동을 즐기면서 하기에는 어려운 현실이었다. 둘째, 육상선수로서의 몹시 고되고 힘든 경험을 통해 내적으로 단단해질 수 있었고 자신에게 처한 문제를 성장으로 승화시켰다. 셋째, 육상지도자로서의 경험은 교육자로서 끊임없는 자기계발과 학생선수를 위한 지도를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 드러난 교육적 가치의 이해와 실천을 위해 이심전심의 자세, 지속적인 자기계발, 자기 주도적 학생선수로 성장시킬 수 있어야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the life of an excellent land leader in depth and to understand the educational value of the experience revealed. To this end, A track coach of S Middle School in Seoul, who won the Sport Developed Countries Leader Award for his critical case collection, was selected as a participant in the study. The data collection mainly collected on-site text through in-depth interviews, and the collected data was analyzed using the procedures and methods of narratives. The results of this study were derived from two categories, six detailed factors. In conclusion, first of all, the experience of joyfully exercising while entering track and field enabled positive self-determination behavior, but as the grade went up, it was difficult to exercise while enjoying it. Second, through the hard and arduous experience as a runner, he was able to strengthen internally and sublimate his problems into growth. Third, experience as a track leader has been shown to provide constant self-development and guidance for student athletes as educators. For the understanding and practice of educational values revealed through this study, one should be able to grow into a self-directed student player, a posture of mind-bending, continuous self-development, and self-directed student player.
