혁신학교 수업 혁신의 실행 양상에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 혁신학교 교사들의 수업 혁신 모습과 과정, 그것에 내재된 갈등과 어려움을 파악하고, 혁신학교 수업 혁신의 실천 방향을 제언하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 설정하고 연구를 진행하였다. 이를 위해 긍정적인 수업 혁신이 일어난 것으로 판단되는 경기도 한 학교의 교사들을 대상으로 면담을 시행하는 질적 연구의 방법을 활용하였다. 그 결과, 사례 학교에서의 수업 혁신은 ‘수업에 대한 교사 인식의 전환’, ‘교사와 학생과의 상호작용이 이루어지는 교수-학습 진행’, ‘수업에 대한 지속적인 피드백과 재설계’의 모습으로 구현되는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 이러한 수업 혁신은 리더 교사와 교사 학습모임을 필두로, 학교 관리자와 교사 학습모임 간의 철학 공유, 학교 관리자에 의한 새로운 정책의 수용 및 채택이라는 과정을 통해 이루어졌다. 한편, 이 과정 속에서 교사들은 보여주기식 수업, 교사별 수업 혁신 수준의 차이, 수업 혁신 주체자들 사이의 갈등, 관련 정책의 적용으로 인한 부담감 등의 어려움을 겪은 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해, 본 연구는 혁신학교는 수업 혁신을 가장 우선적인 목표로 설정해야 하며, 수업 혁신의 모습과 과정은 관련 맥락에 대한 총체적인 이해를 전제로 해야 한다는 점, 수업 혁신을 위한 정책은 교사의 공감을 얻은 뒤 도입해야 한다는 점, 교사들의 자율적 학습모임을 활성화하고, 학교 관리자의 역할을 촉진자 또는 촉매자로 새롭게 규정해야 한다는 점 등을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the appearance and process of innovation in their classes and the conflicts and difficulties inherent in them, and to suggest the direction of practice of innovation in innovation school through a meeting with teachers of an innovation school in Gyeonggi Province. As a result, class innovation in case schools was being embodied in the form of transformation of perception of class , professor-learning progress in which interaction with teachers and students takes place and continued feedback and redesign of class . In addition, led by a group of leaders and teachers aiming for class innovation, the entire school was transformed through the process of sharing philosophy between school administrators and teacher learning groups, accepting and adopting new policies by school administrators. In addition, teachers were able to identify difficulties such as show-off classes, differences in class innovation, conflicts among subjects, and pressure from policies. Through these findings, the study suggested that innovative schools should set class innovation as their top priority, that the practice and process of class innovation should be based on a comprehensive understanding of the context associated with the class, that policies for class innovation should be introduced after gaining sympathy from teachers, that the autonomous learning group of teachers should be activated, and that the role of school administrators should be renewed as facilitators or catalysts.
