학교 밖 청소년의 진로장애가 생활만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 학교 밖 청소년의 진로장애와 생활만족도 간 관계에 있어 부모애착과 또래애착의 역할이 연령에 따라 달라지는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원의 학업중단 패널 중 3차년도(2015년), 4차년도(2016년), 5차년도(2017년) 275명(미성년 115명, 성년 160명)의 자료가 사용되었으며, SPSS 22.0과 SPSS Process Macro를 활용한 이중매개분석이 실시되었다. 주요 결과는 첫째, 모든 연령대에서 학교 밖 청소년의 진로장애는 생활만족도에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 미성년의 경우 부모애착의 매개효과가 유의하게 나타난 반면, 성년의 경우 또래애착의 매개효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 함의점, 제한점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언이 논의되었다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the role of parental and peer attachment in the relationship between career barriers and life satisfaction of out-of-school youth in the sample of adolescents and young adults, respectively. Data were analyzed for 275 participants (115 adolescents, 160 young adults) who answered all the 3rd, 4th, and 5th panel survey for school dropouts of Korean National Youth Policy Institute. The multiple mediation analysis was conducted using SPSS 22.0 and SPSS Process Macro. Results showed that career barriers had negative influence on life satisfaction in both adolescents and young adults group. Moreover, for adolescents group, parental attachment mediated the path from career barriers to life satisfaction, while for young adult group, peer attachment mediated the path from career barriers to life satisfaction. Based on these findings, the limitations and implications for practical and future research were discussed.
