초임 보육교사의 멘토링 기능이 직무만족과 경력몰입에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 초임 보육교사의 멘토링 기능이 직무만족 및 경력몰입에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 목적이 있었다. 연구대상은 D 광역시, P광역시 어린이집에 재직하고 있는 경력 3년 미만의 생존기 현직 보육교사 239명이었다. 자료수집은 2020년 1월 6일부터 1월 31일 약 3주간 설문조사를 실시하였고 수집된 자료는 연구문제에 따라 상관관계분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 초임 보육교사의 멘토링 기능은 직무만족 및 경력몰입과 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초임 보육교사의 멘토링 기능이 직무만족 및 경력몰입에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 경력개발 기능, 심리사회적 기능, 역할모델 기능이 직무만족에 영향을 미치며, 경력개발 기능, 심리사회적 기능이 경력몰입에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과 초임 보육교사의 멘토링 기능은 직무만족과 경력몰입에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인임을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of mentoring function in a newly appointed child care teachers upon job satisfaction and career commitment. Research subjects included 239 in-service child care teachers with the survival stage in less than 3 years of career who are working at child care centers in D Metropolitan City and P Metropolitan City. Data collection was carried out a questionnaire survey for about 3 weeks from January 6, 2020 to January 31. The collected data were conducted correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis according to a research problem. As a result of research, first, the mentoring function in a newly appointed child care teachers was indicated to have a correlation with job satisfaction and career commitment. Second, in consequence of examining the effect of mentoring function in a newly appointed child care teachers on job satisfaction and career commitment, it was shown that the career development function, the psycho-social function and the role model function have influence upon job satisfaction, and that the career development function and the psycho-social function have an impact on career commitment. As a result of research, there is an implication as saying that the mentoring function in a newly appointed child care teachers is an important factor of influencing job satisfaction and career commitment.
