반응중심이론에 기초한 유아 현대미술 감상교육 프로그램 모형 개발

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 반응중심이론에 기초한 유아 현대미술 감상교육 프로그램 모형을 개발하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 2020년 3월부터 9월까지 선행연구 및 문헌 고찰, 요구 조사, 프로그램 모형 시안 구성, 프로그램 모형의 타당성 검토, 최종 프로그램 수정 및 보완의 절차를 걸쳐 진행되었다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 프로그램의 목적은 현대미술에 관심을 가지고 나름대로 작품을 해석하며 미적인 안목과 감수성을 기르는 것이며, 이를 위해 3개의 구체적인 목표를 설정하였다. 프로그램의 교육내용은 지각과 인식, 탐색과 이해, 해석과 비평의 3개 영역으로 구분하여 총 8개 하위내용을 선정, 조직하였다. 프로그램의 교수-학습방법은 교수-학습원리, 교수-학습과정, 교수-학습자료, 교사 역할로 구성하였다. 교수-학습원리는 유아중심, 놀이중심, 흥미중심, 미적체험, 다양성, 상호작용의 원리를 포함하고, 교수-학습과정은 반응의 형성, 반응의 명료화, 반응의 심화, 반응의 내면화로 구성되어 있다. 교수-학습자료는 다양한 장르의 현대미술작품과 감상매체로 구분되어 있고, 교사 역할은 상호작용자, 환경제공자, 정서적 지원자, 관찰 및 평가자를 포함한다. 프로그램의 평가는 유아와 교사를 대상으로 이루어지며 유아는 관찰, 면담, 상호작용 및 활동결과물 분석을, 교사평가는 반성적 저널과 수업 동영상을 분석하도록 하였다. 이로써 본 연구는 현대미술과 미술감상교육을 위한 반응중심이론의 교육적 가치를 재확인하고, 효과적으로 미술감상교육방안을 구체적으로 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop a contemporary art appreciation program model for young children based on response-based theory. To this end, from March to September 2020, prior research and literature review, survey, developing the draft of a program model, expert review, and final revision and addition were proceeded. The results were as follows. The purpose of this program is to be interested in contemporary art, to interpret the artwork in their own way, and to develop an aesthetic perspective and sensibility. To achieve this goal, three specific subjects are set. The educational content of this program consists of three areas, perception and recognition, exploration and understanding, interpretation and criticism, and eight sub-contents were selected and organized. The teaching-learning method of this program consists of teaching-learning principles, teaching-learning process, teaching-learning materials, and teacher’s roles. Teaching-learning principles include child-centered, play-based, interest-based, aesthetic experience, diversity, and interaction, and the teaching-learning process consists of formation of response, clarification of response, in-depth of response, and internalization of response. Teaching-learning materials include various genres of contemporary artworks and appreciation media, and teacher’s roles are interactor, environment provider, emotional supporter, observer and evaluator. The evaluation of this program includes both young children evaluation and teacher evaluation, observations, interview, analysis of interactions and activity outcomes for young children evaluation, and reflective journals and instructional videos were analyzed for teacher evaluation. In conclusion, this study is meaningful in that it reaffirms the educational value of response-based theory for contemporary art and art appreciation education, and it also suggests effective art appreciation education approach in detail.
