예비교사용 인성 측정도구의 개발 및 타당화

국문 초록

이 연구는 예비교사용 인성 측정도구를 개발하고 타당화하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 충북에 위치한 대학교의 사범대 학생을 대상으로 2018년 7월 2일부터 7월 23일까지 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 예비조사는 196명의 응답을, 본조사는 278명의 응답을 최종 분석하였다. 구체적인 연구결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비로 제작된 예비교사용 인성 측정도구에 대하여 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 총 88개 문항 중 39개 문항이 제거되어 예비교사용 인성 측정도구의 하위 요인은 총 49개 문항, 10개 요인으로 구성되었다. 최종 측정도구는 3개의 차원에 따라 개인적 차원의 자기이해의 인성 요인은 자기존중(4문항), 자기조절(4문항), 자기성장의 인성 요인은 성실(4문항), 정직/용기(5문항), 도덕성(6문항)이다. 대인관계적 차원의 인성 요인은 배려/소통(5문항), 책임(4문항), 예의(4문항)이며, 사회적 차원의 인성 요인은 정의/인권존중(7문항), 시민성(5문항)이다. 둘째, 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 개발된 예비교사용 인성 측정도구는 적합하다고 판단할 수 있다. 셋째, 잠재변인과 측정변인 간 모든 경로계수가 유의하게 나타났으며, 문항으로서의 신뢰성과 타당성이 확보되었다. 이 연구에서 개발한 예비교사용 인성 측정도구는 예비교사 스스로 자신의 인성 역량을 측정하는데 활용할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 교원양성기관에서도 예비교사의 어떤 인성 요인을 더 발달시켜야 할지에 대한 판단 도구로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study developed and validated a personality assessment tool for pre-service teachers. To that end, online surveys were carried out for the College of Education students in a university in Chungcheongbuk-do. The preliminary and main surveys selected and analyzed 196 and 278 respondents, respectively. The detailed results of this research are as follows. First, an exploratory factor analysis was conducted for the personality assessment tool for pre-service teachers. As a result, 39 out of 88 questions in total were eliminated and the sub-factors of the personality assessment tool for pre-service teachers consisted of 49 questions in 10 factors. The final assessment tool was divided into three dimensions. In the individual dimension, the personality factors of self-understanding consisted of self-respect (4 questions) and self-control (4 questions). The personality factors of self-growth consisted of sincerity (4 questions), honesty/courage (5 questions), and morality (6 questions). The personality factors of the interpersonal relationships dimension consisted of care/communication (5 questions), responsibility (4 questions), and courtesy (4 questions). The personality factors of the social dimension consisted of justice/respect for human rights (7 questions) and citizenship (5 questions). Second, a confirmatory factor analysis was conducted and as a result, the fitness indices of the assessment tool model were. Since all the indices satisfied the standard values, the developed personality assessment tool for pre-service teachers can be considered to be fit. Third, all path coefficients between the latent and measured variables were statistically significant. In addition, suggesting that every question reflects the personality factors well. Thus, the reliability and validity of the questions have been obtained. The personality assessment tool for pre-service teachers developed in this study can be used by pre-service teachers to measure their personality competence on their own. Moreover, teacher training institutes can also use this as a tool to determine which personality factors of pre-service teachers should be further developed.
