예비 유아교사의 수학 교수 능력 증진을 위한 실행 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비 유아교사의 수학 교수 능력 증진 방안을 모색하여 실행하고, 그 효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 연구기간은 2016년 9월부터 12월까지이며, 연구대상은 유아수학교육 교과목을 수강하고 있는 예비 유아교사 31명이다. 본 연구는 대학의 유아수학교육 교과목의 문제점 인식을 바탕으로 수학에 대한 예비 유아교사의 인식 개선 및 수학교육에 관한 유아교사로서의 전문성 신장을 위해 1, 2차에 걸쳐 실행되었다. 1차 실행에서는 예비 유아교사의 수학에 대한 인식 개선을 위해 일상 속 수학적 경험 나누기, 수학적 경험 분석하기, 수학적 문제 해결하기가 실시되었다. 2차 실행에서는 수학 교수 능력 증진을 위해 유아의 일상적 수학 경험 조사하기, 유아의 일상과 연계된 수학 활동 개발, 실행하기가 이루어졌다. 본 연구를 통해 예비 유아교사들은 수학의 일상성 깨닫기, 수학적 소양 기르기, 수학에 대한 자신감 형성, 수학교육 의 교수 능력 증진의 효과를 거두었다. 본 연구는 실행 연구의 과정을 통해 유아수학 교육에 관한 예비 교사교육의 방향을 제시했다는 점에서 의의를 지닌다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore and implement the method of enhancing the math teaching ability of pre-service early childhood teachers and examine the effect. The subjects of this study are 31 pre-service early childhood teachers taking early childhood mathematics education courses. Based on the recognition of problems of early childhood mathematics education courses of universities, this study is carried out on the 1st and 2nd times in order to improve the pre-service teachers awareness of mathematics and to enhance the professionalism as early childhood teachers about mathematics education. In the first action, sharing everyday mathematical experience, analyzing mathematical experience and solving mathematical problems are conducted to improve pre-service teachers awareness of mathematics. In the 2nd action, surveying children’ everyday math experience, development of math activities linked to daily life of children and action are done in order to enhance the math teaching ability. Through this study, the pre-service teachers obtain the effects such as realizing the routine of mathematics, raising mathematical literacy, forming confidence in mathematics and promoting the teaching ability of mathematics education. This study has the significance in that it presented directions of pre-service teacher education on pre-service mathematics education through the process of action research.
