어머니의 양육효능감 및 양육스트레스와 아동학대 간의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니가 아동을 양육하면서 발생할 수 있는 양육스트레스와 양육효능감 및 아동학대 간의 관계를 탐색해보고, 양육효능감 및 양육스트레스가 아동학대에 미치는 영향을 확인하고 그 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 연구대상자는 부산지역의 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니 287명으로 2018년 3월 19일부터 6월 29일까지 설문조사가 이루어졌다. 연구도구는 어머니의 양육효능감, 양육스트레스, 아동학대를 측정하기 위한 측정도구를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 분석방법은 person의 상관관계분석, 단계적 회귀 분석이다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 양육스트레스 하위영역 중 부모의 고통과 아동학대 하위영역 중 방임을 제외하고 양육효능감, 양육스트레스, 아동학대 전체 및 모든 하위영역에서 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 아동학대에 영향 을 예측할 수 있는 변수는 부모-자녀 간 역기능적인 상호작용, 아동의 까다로운 기 질, 양육효능감으로 나타났다. 아동학대를 줄이고 예방하는 것은 어머니가 자녀를 양육하는 과정에서 겪게 되는 스트레스를 줄일 수 있도록 어머니를 비롯하여 가족 구성원이 육아에 동참할 수 있도록 다양한 사회적, 국가적 차원의 방안이 마련될 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among parental stress, parenting efficacy and child abuse, which might take place among mothers in the course of parenting, and to determine the influences of parenting efficacy and parental stress on child abuse and the relationships of the variables. The subjects in this study were 287 mothers who had children in early childhood in the region of Busan. The instrument used in this study was an inventory that measured maternal parenting efficacy, parental stress and child abuse. The analysis methods used in this study were Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The findings of the study were as follows: First, there were significant correlations among the entire and every subfactor of parenting efficacy, parental stress and child abuse except for parental distress and neglect that were respectively one of the subareas of parenting stress and child abuse. Second, the variables that could be predicted to affect child abuse were parent-child dysfunctional interaction, child s difficult temperament and parenting efficacy. To reduce and prevent child abuse, various social and national measures should be taken to help family members including mothers join parenting so that mothers could be less stressed while they raise their children.
