유아 스토리텔링 수학교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식과 실태

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 스토리텔링 수학교육에 대한 어린이집교사와 유치원교사의 인식과 실태를 살펴봄으로써 유아 스토리텔링 수학교육의 효과적인 현장 적용을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구는 부산시에 위치한 어린이집 및 유치원에 근무하는 유아 교사 239명을 대상으로 하였다. 임연화(2016)가 개발한 교사용 스토리텔링 유아 수학활동 설문지를 참고하여 본 연구자가 수정 및 재구성한 유아 교사용 스토리텔링 수학교육 설문지를 사용하였다. SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Science) 23.0 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도, 백분율, 다중응답분석, 카이검증 값을 산출 하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해서 첫째, 유아 스토리텔링 수학교육이 유아들의 수학에 대한 흥미와 호기심을 갖기 위해 필요하고 둘째, 유아 스토리텔링 수학교육이 유아 교육현장에서 활성화되기 위해 유아 스토리텔링 수학교육을 위한 구체적인 교수매체 개발 및 보급과 유아 스토리텔링 수학교육 관련 교사교육 및 연수가 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for effective application of early childhood storytelling mathematics education by looking at day care center and early childhood teacher s perceptions and current status for early childhood storytelling mathematics education. This study was conducted on 239 early childhood teachers in day care centers and kindergartens located in Busan. Based on the storytelling early childhood mathematics activity questionnaire developed by Lim, Yeon-Hwa(2016), used the early childhood teacher s storytelling mathematics education questionnaire modified and reconstructed by the researcher. The frequency, percentage, multiple response analysis and chi-square test values were calculated using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) 23.0 program. The results of this study are as follows. First, Early childhood storytelling mathematics education is necessary for early childhood to have interest and curiosity in mathematics. Second, Early childhood storytelling mathematics education to be activated in the early childhood education field, it was found that the development and dissemination of concrete teaching media for the early childhood storytelling mathematics education and the education and training of the teacher for the early childhood storytelling mathematics were needed.
