학교상담자의 윤리적 딜레마 상황에 대한 도덕적 주의력이 지각된 스트레스 및 소진에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 학교상담자들의 윤리적 딜레마 상황에 대한 도덕적 주의력이 지각된 스트레스 및 소진에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 연구모형을 검증하는데 있다. 전국의 학교상담자 317명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였고 구조방정식 모형을 통하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 윤리적 딜레마 상황에 대해 민감하게 관찰하고 인식하는 지각적 도덕 주의력은 학교상담자의 지각된 스트레스 및 소진에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 윤리적 딜레마 상황에 대하여 고려하고 성찰하는 성찰적 도덕 주의력은 학교상담자의 지각된 스트레스 및 소진을 완화하는데 효과가 있다고 볼 수 없었다. 또한 지각적 도덕 주의력과 성찰적 도덕 주의력, 지각된 스트레스 및 소진은 서로 높은 상관을 나타냈다. 본 연구는 학교상담자가 윤리적 딜레마 상황에 직면하였을 때 이를 민감하게 지각하는 것만으로도 지각된 스트레스와 소진을 경험할 수 있음을 확인하였고 학교상담자가 윤리적 딜레마를 경험할 때 지각된 스트레스 및 소진과 같은 부정적 영향을 인식하고 관리할 필요성을 제기하였다. 또한 윤리적 딜레마 상황에 대해 민감하게 지각하는 것이 스트레스나 소진과 같은 부정적인 감정으로 이어지는 것이 아니라 윤리적 딜레마 상황에 대한 대처 능력의 향상으로 부정적 감정을 경험하지 않도록 돕는 학교상담자를 위한 윤리교육의 필요성과 학교상담 윤리 연구의 방향에 대해 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of moral attentiveness on perceived stress and burnout on the ethical dilemma of school counselors and to verify the research model. The data were collected from 317 school counselors nationwide and analyzed by structural equation modeling. The results of the study showed that the authors identified that perceptual moral attentiveness of ethical dilemmas related to an increased level of counselor burnout and perceived stress among the participants. However, reflective moral attentiveness of the ethical dilemmas did not have a relationship with participants’ burnout and perceived stress. This study is meaningful in verifying that the experience of school counselor s ethical dilemma induces exhaustion and perceived stress. Ethical dilemma The perception of a sensitive situation does not lead to negative emotions such as stress or exhaustion but to the need for ethical education for school counselors to help them to experience negative emotions by improving their ability to deal with ethical dilemma situations, and suggested the direction of research.
