국문 초록

본 연구는 4차 산업혁명 시대의 핵심역량 논의를 분석하여 향후 우리나라 교육과정의 방향을 탐색하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이에 4차 산업혁명 관련 주요 보고서인 세계경제포럼, UNESCO, OECD 등의 자료를 분석하여 그 속에서 핵심역량의 방향과 요소가 어떻게 다루어지고 있는지를 분석하고 향후 교육과정 개정에서 고려해야 할 사항을 논의하였다. 연구 결과, 4차 산업혁명 관련 주요 보고서에서는 핵심역량 관련 용어들을 다양하게 사용하고 있으나 ‘역량’과 ‘기술’이 대표 개념으로 사용되고 유사 용어들은 개념화되거나 위계화되지 않은 것으로 분석되며, ‘핵심역량’의 하위 요소 분류에서는 인지적 요소, 사회적·실제적 요소, 정서적 요소로 분류되는 일정한 경향성을 보이며, 핵심역량 요소 중 ‘정서적 역량’과 ‘신체적 역량’에 대한 관심이 두드러진다. 이에 우리나라 교육계가 4차 산업혁명 논의를 이어갈 때 용어 혼용을 줄이고 일관성을 찾기 위해 기존의 ‘핵심역량’ 용어를 재개념화하여 사용할 것, 하위 역량 분류는 점검하되 일관성 있는 분류 기준을 설정할 것 등을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

One of the hot issues of The Fourth Industrial Revolution is the key competencies. The goal of this study is to analyze issues of Key Competencies in the Reports of World Economic Forum, UNESCO, OECD etc. and to discuss issues to be considered in the revision of the curriculum of the 4th Industrial Revolution era. According to the analysis, the reports uses a variety of key competency-related terms, but competence and skill are used most frequently as a representative concept and each term is not conceptualized or hierarchized.. Second, subclassification of key competency tends to be categorized as cognitive, social, and emotional factors. lastly, emotional competence and physical competence stand out in the discussion of key competencies in the fourth industrial revolution. Therefore, we needs to reconsider the existing key competency terms in Korea national curriculum to find the consistency and reduce the mixed use of terms, to check the competency classification but to set a consistent standard, to reconsider emotional and physical competence.
