임상실습을 경험한 간호대학생의 간호의 예술성에 대한 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 임상실습을 경험한 간호 대학생들이 간호의 예술성에 대해 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 탐색하기 위하여 현상학적인 연구방법을 적용하여 경험의 본질을 탐색하였다. 연구대상은 임상실습을 경험한 간호학과 4학년 41명이었으며 이들을 대상으로 연구의 목적을 설명한 후 사전 동의를 얻어 면담을 진행하였다. 연구기간은 2016년 3월 1일부터 6월 22일까지이며 연구 참여자들의 인터뷰와 질문지 작성을 통해 의미 있는 내용을 추출하였으며 자료 분석은 colaizzi(1978)의 현상학적 분석방법에 근거하여 단계별로 분석하였다. 면담질문은 “간호는 어떤 측면에서 예술이라고 생각하시나요?”, “간호가 예술이 되기 위한 임상실습의 실례를 들어 말씀해 주십시오.”, “간호학생으로서 간호예술인이 되기 위해 어떻게 하면 좋을까요?”이었으며 면담을 시작하기 전 참여자들과 친근감을 형성하기 위해 최근 이슈나 안부를 묻는 질문으로 면담을 시작하였다. 참여자들의 인터뷰를 통해 도출된 결과는 98개의 의미구성으로부터 9개의 주제, 3개의 주제모음이 도출되었다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해 간호 대학생들이 간호의 예술적 측면에 대해 어떻게 인식하고 있는지에 대한 인식의 구조를 이해하는데 도움이 되었을 것이라 생각된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore what perceptions of the art of nursing that nursing students with experience of clinical practicum would have. For this, the intrinsic nature of their experiences have been investigated using phenomenological research methodology. The study subjects were composed of 41 nursing students in the senior year who had experienced clinical practicum, and they were explained the purpose of the study and interviewed with the informed consent. During the study period from March 1st to June 22nd in the year of 2016, significant findings were discovered from the interviews and questionnaires of the subjects, and data analysis were implemented stepwise based on Colaizzi’s (1978) phenomenological research methodology. The interview questions included “In what perspective do you think nursing is art?”, “Please give some examples of clinical practicum that nursing could be art”, “As a nursing student, please suggest what to do in order for nursing to be art”, etc., and each interview began with casual questions regarding recent issues or personal matters to help the subjects feel more comfortable before starting the formal questions. Out of 98 meaning structures derived from the outcomes of the interviews, nine research agenda and three groups of the agenda were established. It is expected the results above would promote understanding of nursing students’ perceptual structure of the artistic perspective of nursing.
