국문 초록

본 연구는 커뮤니티 기능이 저하되고 유통업체 경쟁력에서 뒤처진 전통시장의 재생과 현대화를 위해 건축적으로 문제점의 해결방안을 모색하고자 한다. 노후화되고 소통과 커뮤니티 기능을 상실한 전통시장의 현대화를 위해서는 인근 주민들의 문화적, 물적 교류와 소통이 이루어지는 공간 즉 공간과 공간, 공간과 인간, 인간과 문화의 관계맺기에 집중 할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 관계맺기의 하나의 기법으로 리좀과 사이공간의 개념을 가져온다. 리좀은 중심이 없이 끊임없는 접속이 이루어지는 생성체계이며 사이공간은 요소들간이 물리적 관계를 맺어주는 매개체 공간이다. 이러한 리좀과 사이공간의 개념에서 소통과 커뮤니티의 건축적인 특성을 발견할 수 있다. 따라서 관계맺기를 통한 소통과 커뮤니티가 활성화되는 전통시장의 현대화를 위해서는 리좀의 개념과 사이공간의 공간적 특성의 적용에 주목할 필요가 있다. 결론적으로 리좀과 사이공간의 건축적 특성 즉 탈집중화, 네트워크화, 유연한 결합화, 사이공간을 적용시키는 것이 소통과 커뮤니티 기능이 활성화하는 전통시장의 현대화를 위한 건축적 해결방안이 될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study sought to solve the problems of architectural problems for the restoration and modernization of the traditional market which is deteriorated in community function and the competitiveness of distributors. The modernization of the traditional market, which has become obsolete and lost communication and community functions, needs to concentrate on the relationship between the space where the cultural and physical exchanges and communication of the neighboring people are carried out, that is space, space, space, human, human and culture. For this purpose, this study introduces the concept of rhythm and In-Between Space as a technique of making relationships. In-Between Space is a mediating space for establishing this physical relationship between elements. The concept of this rhizome and the In-Between Space can reveal the architectural characteristics of communication and community. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the application of the concept of the rhizome and the spatial characteristics of the In-Between Space in order to modernize the traditional market in which communication and community are activated.In conclusion, the architectural characteristics of the in-between space, that is, decentralization, networking, flexible combination, and in-between space, will be the architectural solutions for the modernization of the traditional market where communication and community functions are activated.
