국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 영아기 자녀 어머니의 공감능력이 어머니-교사 협력에 미치는 영향은 어떠한지 알아보고, 이들 두 변인 간 인과관계에 영향을 미치는 양육역량의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 방법 경기도 지역 소재 어린이집에 다니는 영아기 자녀 어머니 284명을 대상으로 전자 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 29.0 프로그램을 활용하여 신뢰도분석, 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석과 매개효과 검증을 위한 다중회귀분석 및 유의성 검증을 위해 Sobel-test를 실시하였다. 결과 연구결과 첫째, 영아기 자녀 어머니의 공감능력과 양육역량, 어머니-교사 협력 간의 관계는 모두 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 영아기 자녀 어머니의 공감능력이 어머니-교사 협력에 미치는 영향에서 양육역량의 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 어머니-교사 간의 협력이 영아의 발달에 중요한 역할을 한다는 사실이 꾸준이 제시되고 있음에도 이를 증진하기 위해 필요한 부모의 특성을 밝히는 연구는 상대적으로 미흡한 상황에서 영아기 자녀 어머니의 공감능력이 교사와의 협력에 직⋅간접적으로 의미있는 영향을 미치는 부모 변인임을 입증하였다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다. 본 연구를 토대로 부모의 공감능력 향상과 부모 양육역량 강화를 위한 부모교육 프로그램이 활성화될 것을 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to find out how the empathy ability of mothers of children in infancy affects mother-teacher cooperation and to verify the mediating effect of parenting competency that affects the causal relationship between these two variables. Methods An electronic survey was conducted on 284 mothers of infant children attending daycare centers in the Gyeonggi-do area. The collected data were subjected to reliability analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis to verify mediation effects using the SPSS 29.0 program, and Sobel-test was performed to verify significance. Results First, the relationships between mothers' empathy and parenting capabilities and mother-teacher cooperation in infancy showed a positive correlation. Second, a partial mediating effect of parenting competency was found in the effect of the mother's empathy ability on mother-teacher cooperation during infancy. Conclusions This study consistently shows that mother-teacher cooperation plays an important role in the development of infants, but research on the characteristics of parents necessary to promote this is relatively insufficient. In this situation, the empathic ability of mothers of children in infancy is influenced by teachers. The significance of the study is that it was proven to be a parental variable that has a significant direct and indirect effect on cooperation with parents. Based on this study, it is expected that parent education programs will be activated to improve parents' empathy and strengthen their parenting capabilities.
