국문 초록

목적 교육부는 디지털 기반 교육혁신 방안의 하나로 AI 디지털교과서의 개발 및 도입을 추진하고 있다. 교육혁신을 위해서는 교사의 행동 변화가 필수적이며, 앞으로의 교육을 주도할 예비교사의 디지털 전환 및 AI 디지털교과서에 대한 인식은 정책의 성패에 영향을 끼칠 것이다. 이 연구의 목적은 예비교사를 대상으로 AI 디지털교과서에 대한 인식 및 사용의도를 분석하고, 혁신 수용에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하여 AI 디지털교과서의 수용정도를 높이는 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 방법 확장된 정보기술 수용모형을 바탕으로 주관적 규범, 적합성, 혁신성의 변인을 추가하여 확장된 가설모형을 제안하였다, 가설 모형의 검증을 위해 초등 예비교사 189명을 대상으로 AI 디지털교과서에 대한 사용의도 및 인식을 조사하는 온라인 설문을 실시하고, 설문 결과를 토대로 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 지각된 유용성과 지각된 사용용이성, 적합성, 주관적 규범과 사용의도의 관계에 대한 회귀모형은 사용의도의 변화에 대해 63.3%의 설명력을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 지각된 유용성과 적합성, 주관적 규범 변수는 사용의도에 정적이며 통계적으로 유의미한 영향력을 나타냈다. 이와 달리 지각된 사용용이성과 혁신성이 사용의도에 미치는 영향은 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, AI 디지털교과서의 편의성을 강조하는 것보다 AI 디지털교과서가 교수⋅학습의 개선에 유용하다는 인식을 갖도록 하는 것이 AI 디지털교과서의 사용 증진에 기여할 수 있다. 둘째, 예비교사에게 미치는 사회적 영향을 고려하여 교사들이 AI 디지털교과서와 이를 활용한 교수⋅학습 방안에 대해 논의할 수 있도록 지원할 필요가 있다. 셋째, AI 디지털 교과서가 추구하는 맞춤형 교육의 필요성과 가치를 명확히 전달하는 것은 AI 디지털교과서 사용을 촉진할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives Ministry of Education is promoting the development and introduction of AI digital textbooks as one of its measures for digital-based educational innovation. Changes in teachers' behavior are crucial for educational innovation, and the success or failure of policies will be influenced by pre-service teachers' perception of AI digital textbooks. The purpose of this study is to analyze the pre-service teachers' intention to use of AI digital textbooks and identify the factors that affect their acceptance of this innovation, in order to determine how to increase the actual cceptance among pre-service teachers. Methods Based on the Extension of the Technology Acceptance Model, hypothesis model of the study was proposed by adding variables such as subjective norms, compatibility, and innovativeness. To verify the hypothesis model, an online survey was conducted on 189 pre-service teachers to investigate their intention of use and perception of AI digital textbooks, and multiple regression analysis was conducted based on the survey results. Results The regression model, which examines the relationship between perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, compatibility, subjective norm, and intention to use, was found to explain 63.3% of the variance in intention to use. Perceived usefulness, compatibility, and subjective norm demonstrated a statistically significant influence on the intention to use. Contrarily, no significant effect of perceived ease of use and innovation on the intention to use was found. Conclusions The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, rather than emphasizing the convenience of AI digital textbooks, promoting awareness of their usefulness for improving teaching and learning can contribute to the wider adoption of AI digital textbooks. Second, given the impact of social relations on pre-service teachers, it is imperative to provide support to enable teachers to engage in discussions about AI digital textbooks and their integration into teaching and learning plans. Third, promoting the use of AI digital textbooks to teachers can be achieved by effectively conveying the necessity and value of personalized education to be realized through them.
