유아 기질과 가족기능이 유아 놀이행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 유아의 역량 증진과 관련이 높은 유아 놀이행동에 유아 기질과 가족기능이 미치는 영향력을 살펴보고자 한다. 방법 연구대상은 U시에 소재한 유치원 3곳에 재원중인 유아 238명의 어머니 및 담임교사를 통해 설문지를 배포 후 회수하였다. 수집된 자료는 유아 기질, 가족기능 및 유아 놀이행동 간의 상관관계를 살펴보고, 각 변인들이 유아 놀이행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴 보기 위해 기술통계, Pearson 상관관계 및 단계적 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이러한 분석은 SPSS 프로그램을 활용하였다. 결과 연구문제를 중심으로 살펴보면 첫째, 유아 사회놀이와 기질(사교성, 활동성), 가족기능(적응성 및 응집성) 간에 정적상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 유아 혼자놀이와 기질(활동성), 가족기능(응집성) 간에 부적상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 유아 비놀이와 기질(사회성 및 활동성), 가족기능(적응성) 간에 부적상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아 사회놀이를 설명하는 요인으로 사회성 기질과 가족기능의 응집성이 나타났다. 그리고 유아 혼자놀이를 설명하는 요인으로 활동성 기질이 나타났으며 유아 비놀이를 설명하는 요인으로 사회성 기질이 나타났다. 결론 사회놀이는 개인변인과 환경변인이 모두 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 사회놀이 증진을 위해서는 개인적 노력과 함께 환경적 변화 함께 이루어져야 함을 시사하고 있다. 다음으로 혼자놀이와 비놀이는 개인적 변인의 차이로 나타남을 보여주고 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate how temperament and family functioning affect the play behavior of preschool children. Methods The study participants included a total of 238 mothers of young children from U-city. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS program, including Pearson's r-correlation and stepwise regression analyses. Results Results showed a positive correlation between kindergarten children's social play behavior, temperament (sociability and activity), and family functioning (adaptability and cohesion). Furthermore, negative correlations were found between kindergarten children's independent play behavior, temperament (activity), and family functioning (cohesion). Additionally, negative correlations were identified between preschool children's non-play behavior, temperament (sociability and activity), and family functioning (adaptability and cohesion). In terms of prediction, preschool children's social play was predicted by temperament sociability and solidarity. Non-play was predicted by temperament sociability, and then independent play was predicted by temperament activity.. Conclusions Socialization of preschool children is influenced by individual and social variables, suggesting that environmental changes and individual interventions are needed to promote infant socialization. Furthermore, we conclude that independent play and non-play are influenced by individual variables and require further research.
