전문대학 교양 글쓰기 교육과정 운영 사례 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 일개 전문대학의 교양 글쓰기 교육과정 운영 사례 분석을 통하여 전문대학 글쓰기 교육의 개선방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 전문대학의 일반적인 교양교육 운영 특성에 대한 문헌고찰을 수행하였고, 이를 기반으로 T전문대학의 2016~ 2023년 기간 동안의 글쓰기 교육 운영 사례를 분석하였다. 특히 글쓰기 교육이 포함되어 있는 의사소통 관련 교과목의 교육과정 개편 사례를 분석·제시하였고, 세 차례에 걸친 개편 시기별 주요 특징과 글쓰기 관련 교육내용이 어떻게 달라졌는가를 정리·분석하였다. 실제 교과목 운영사례 분석과 더불어 교양 교육과정 운영 관련 대학의 여건 및 지원 체제에 대하여 연구자의 경험내용을 추가 기술하였다. 결과 사례 대학의 교양 글쓰기 교육과정 분석 결과, 전문대학 직업기초능력 하위영역으로서의 의사소통 교육을 진행해 왔으며, 전문대학 내 글쓰기 전담 인력 및 전문성 부족 문제, 전문대학 재정지원사업 평가 지표와 관련하여, 최소한의 개선 노력이 이루어지고 있음을 분석하였다. 교양교육 선진화를 견인하는 외적인 요구에 기인하여, 교양교육 전담조직 구성, 교양교과목으로서의 적합성 기준을 충족하기 위한 노력이 진행되고 있으나 소극적인 수준에 머물러 있으며 학생 맞춤식 글쓰기 교육 및 피드백이 부족함을 제시하였다. 이를 보완하기 위하여 수기공모전 등의 비교과활동을 연계하여 운영하고 있으나 교육성과로 수렴하는데 한계가 있음을 분석하였다. 결론 전문대학의 글쓰기 교육이 취업 기술력 함양에 머무르지 않고, 미래를 살아갈 학습자의 사고력, 비판력, 문제해결력을 발달시키는 기본교육으로 개선되어야 함을 강조하였다. 이를 위하여 전문대학 글쓰기 교육에 필요한 지원체계 구축이 필요하며 교수자 글쓰기 교육역량 향상 지원, 온라인 글쓰기 피드백 시스템 등 개별 학습자 맞춤의 글쓰기 교육지원을 통하여 글쓰기 교육의 효과성 및 효율성을 높이도록 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to improve writing education in colleges through analysiss of the case operation liberal arts writing cducation in T-College. Methods For this purpose, I conducted a literature review on the general characteristics of liberal arts education in colleges and analyzed cases of writing education at T-College from 2016 to 2023. In particular, cases of curricu-lum reform in communication-related subjects were analyzed and presented, and the main characteristics that appeared in three periods of reform were analyzed. And I organized and analyzed how the writing contents has been changed. In addition to, the researcher's experience was additionally described T-college’s educational con-ditions and support systems in liberal arts curriculum. Results As a result of analysis of writing educaion, the college has been providing communicational writing educa-tion as like a vocational skills. In addition to, addressing the problems lack of general support system, as like in-dependent liberal education support organization and overal consensus on the importance of liberal arts writing education were presented. It was suggested that minimal efforts are being made to meet national financial sup-port project evaluation standards. Conclusions It was emphasized that writing education in colleges should be improved so that it develops the crit-ical thinking and problem-solving skills of learners who will live in the future. To this end, it is necessary to establish a writing education support system at colleges and consider writing education methods tailored to individual learners, such as an online writing feedback system. Through this, it was proposed to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of writing education in colleges.
