은퇴자의 은퇴적응에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 은퇴자의 은퇴적응에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 방법 전국에 거주하는 만 50세 이상의 은퇴자 427명의 자료를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 은퇴자의 은퇴적응에 미치는 요인을 탐색하기 위하여 독립변인으로 인구사회학적 요인, 은퇴 관련 요인, 은퇴 스트레스로 설정하였고 주요 통계방법으로 위계적 회귀분석을사용하였다. 결과 은퇴자의 은퇴적응에 영향을 미치는 요인은 인구사회학적 요인에서는 최종학력과 혼인상태, 은퇴 관련 요인에서는 은퇴 후주수입원이 통계적으로 유의하였고 마지막으로 은퇴 스트레스는 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 은퇴적응의 여섯 가지 하위요인에도 공통적으로 혼인상태와 은퇴스트레스가 통계적으로 유의하였고 은퇴 후 주수입원도 가족관계 적응을 제외한 요인에서모두 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 결론 은퇴준비교육 및 전직지원 서비스 등에서 소외된 대상을 위한 은퇴준비 프로그램을 확대 제공하고 은퇴 스트레스 관리와 심리적 안녕감 증진을 위한 개별적 은퇴상담과 은퇴적응 프로그램이 필요하다. 또한 은퇴자금 마련을 위한 연금 관련 교육과 연금 지원확충 등의 정책 개발이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the factors affecting retirement adjustment among retirees. Methods Data from 427 retirees aged 50 and above residing nationwide were used for the final analysis. To explore the factors affecting retirement adjustment, independent variables were set as demographic and sociological factors, retirement-related factors, and retirement stress. Hierarchical regression analysis was employed as the primary statistical method. Results The factors affecting retirement adjustment among retirees were statistically significant in demographic and sociological factors, including final academic achievement and marital status, as well as retirement-related factors, specifically the primary post-retirement primary source of income. Finally, it was confirmed that retirement stress had a negative impact. Among the six sub-factors of retirement adjustment, marital status and retirement stress were statistically significant across all factors, and post-retirement primary source of income was statistically significant in all factors except family relationship adjustment. Conclusions To address the needs of marginalized individuals in retirement preparation education and career transition or outplacement service, it is essential to expand retirement preparation programs. Additionally, individual retirement counseling and retirement adjustment programs are necessary for managing retirement stress and enhancing psychological well-being. Furthermore, policy development is required for retirement fund preparation, including pension-related education and increased pension support.
