상담전공 학부생의 현장실습 경험에 관한 질적 사례연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 상담전공 학부생의 현장실습 경험에 대해 살펴보며 상담전공 학부 현장실습에 대해 심층적으로 이해하는데 목적이있다. 방법 이를 위하여 현장실습 경험이 있는 6명의 상담전공 4학년생 및 졸업생과 2022년 3월부터 2022년 5월까지 1~2회 면담을하여 상담전공 학부생의 현장실습 경험을 수집하였다. 수집한 자료는 전사하여 질적 사례연구방법의 사례 내, 사례 간 분석을 통해심층적으로 탐색하였다. 결과 분석 결과, 사례 내 분석에서는 6개의 상담전공 학부생 사례에 현장실습 전, 중, 후 등 시기별로 나타난 의미있는 경험들이도출되었고, 사례 간 분석에서는 총 3개의 영역, 7개의 상위범주, 20개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 구체적으로 ‘현장실습 참여의 과정’영역에서는 상위범주인 ‘현장실습에 다양한 동기를 가지고 참여함’과 3개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. ‘현장실습 경험의 과정’영역에서는 상위범주인 ‘현장실습생으로 존재하며 혼란스러움’, ‘현장실습에 주도적으로 참여하여 기관의 구성원이 됨’과 하위범주7개가 도출되었다. ‘현장실습 경험의 의미’영역에서는 상위범주인 ‘성장의 자극제’, ‘이해의 장’, ‘진로의 나침반’, ‘득과 실’과 하위범주 10개가 도출되었다. 결론 본 연구는 질적 사례연구방법으로 상담전공학부생들의 현장실습 경험을 심층적으로 탐색함으로써 상담전공 학부에서 현장실습 교과목의 필요성을 확인하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study is to explore the practicum experience of undergraduate students in counseling and to thoroughly understand their practicum experience. Methods In this study we conducted several in-depth interviews with a total of six seniors and graduates in counseling about their practicum experience once or twice from March to May 2022. The collected data was transcribed and analyzed through intra-case and inter-case analysis of the qualitative case study method. Results In the within-case analysis meaningful experiences that appeared before during and after the field practice were derived for each of the six undergraduate students in counseling and in the inter-case analysis a total of 3 areas 7 upper categories and 20 subcategories were derived. In specific in the “process of practicum experience participation” area, the upper categories “participating in practicum experience with various motives” and three subcategories were derived. In the “process of practicum experience” area, the upper categories, “being confused and existing as field trainees,” “becoming a member of an institution by taking the lead in practicum experience” and seven subcategories were derived. In the “meaning of practicum experience” area, the upper categories of “stimulus of growth,” “field of understanding,” “compass of career,” “benefits and losses” and 10 subcategories were derived. Conclusions This study confirmed the necessity of field practicum courses for undergraduate students in counseling by in-depth exploration of their field practicum experiences using a qualitative case study design.
