부적응적 자기초점주의와 사회불안의 관계: 부정적 자기지각과 사후반추의 이중매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 부적응적 자기초점주의와 사회불안의 관계에서 부정적 자기지각과 사후반추의 이중매개효과를 분석하기위한 것이다. 방법 이를 위해 서울, 경기 등의 지역에서 대학생 남녀 408명에게 사회적 회피 및 불안척도(SADS), 자기초점주의 척도(SDSAS)의자기몰입 문항, 부정적 자기지각 척도(SDBT)의 사회적 자기에 대한 부정적 개념 문항, 사후반추사고 질문지(PRQ)로 구성된 설문을 실시하였다. 자료에 대한 분석은 기술통계, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석, 매개분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 주요 변인들의 상관을 확인한 결과, 모든 변인들 간에 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 부적응적 자기초점주의와 사회불안의관계에서 부정적 자기지각의 부분매개효과를 확인하였으며, 부적응적 자기초점주의와 사회불안의 관계에서 사후반추의 완전매개효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 부적응적 자기초점주의와 사회불안의 관계에서 부정적 자기지각과 사후반추의 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 두 변인이 순차적으로 이중매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 Hofmann(2007)의 사회불안 통합모델을 토대로, 부적응적 자기초점주의와 사회불안의 관계에서 부정적 자기지각과 사후반추의 이중 매개효과를 검증함으로써, 사회불안의 발생과 유지에 기여하는 자기(self)관련 인지적 요인들의 관계를 입증해냈다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to verify the double mediating effect of Negative Self-Perception and Post-Event Rumination between Maladaptive Self-Focused Attention and Social Anxiety in college students. Methods The data from 408 undergraduate students were used for analysis. And Social Avoidance and Distress Scale(SADS), Scale for Dispositional Self-focused Attention in Social situation(SDSAS), Short version of the Dysfunctional Belief Test(SDBT), Post-event Rumination Questionnaire (PRQ) are used for measurements. Using the SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 18.0, descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, bootstrapping method based on Structural Equation Modeling were used to analyze the data. Results The results showed the following: First, Maladaptive Self-Focused Attention showed significant positive correlation with Negative Self-Perception, Post-Event Rumination and Social Anxiety. Also, Negative SelfPerception showed significant positive correlation with Post-Event Rumination and Social Anxiety. And Post-Event Rumination showed significant positive correlation with Social Anxiety. Second, Negative Self-Perception had partly mediating effect between Maladaptive Self-Focused Attention and Social Anxiety. Third, Post-Event Rumination had complete mediating effect between Maladaptive Self-Focused Attention and Social Anxiety. Forth, Negative Self-Perception and Post-Event Rumination had complete double mediating effect between Maladaptive Self-Focused Attention and Social Anxiety. Conclusions Based on Hofmann's (2007) integrated social anxiety model, this study examines the dual mediating effect of negative self-perception and post-mortem rumination in the relationship between maladaptive self-focused attention and social anxiety. It is significant that the relationship between (self)-related cognitive factors was demonstrated.
