국문 초록

경쟁 과열로 각 플랫폼은 시청률 상승과 포맷 산업의 중심인 예능 프로그램 편성을 확대하고 있으나, 소재와 출연자의 다양성은 늘어난 반면, 포맷의 다양성은 감소하고 있다. 2000년 이후 한국 예능 프로그램은, 스타 MC를 중심으로 그들의 특성과 강점을 살릴 수 있는 포맷의 프로그램을 반복 재생산하고있고, 이는 포맷 다양화의 정체와 퇴보로 이어지고 있다. 본 연구는 이런 현상의 요인들을 분석하는 과정에서, 예능 프로그램 메인 MC의 리더십과 특성이 다른 출연자와 프로그램에 미치는 영향력이 크며, 특히 포맷 구성 및 변화와 상관관계가 깊다는 점에 주목하였다. 이에, 메인 MC의 리더십을 분석하고이와 예능 프로그램 포맷의 상관관계를 고찰하고 탐구하여, 관련 연구의 초석이 되고, 제작 현장에서는이를 토대로 메인 진행자에 의해 고정화되고 반복되는 포맷에 변화를 줄 수 있으며, 새로운 포맷 개발에 참고하여 보다 양질의 콘텐츠 양산에 기여할 수 있기를 기대하는 바이다.

영문 초록

Recently, each platform is expanding the programming of entertainment programs, which are the core of the format industry and increase viewer ratings, but while the diversity of materials and performers has increased, the diversity of formats has decreased. After 2000, entertainment programs, centering on star MCs, have repeatedly produced programs of similar formats that can make use of their characteristics and strengths, leading to stagnation and regression in format diversifi cation. In the process of analyzing this phenomenon, this study paid attention to the fact that the leadership and characteristics of the main MC of an entertainment program have a great influence on other performers and programs, in particular, have a deep correlation with the composition and change of the program format. Therefore, by analyzing the leadership of the main MC and exploring the correlation between it and the program format, it is expected to serve as a cornerstone for related research and serve as an opportunity to change the fixed and repetitive format.
