국문 초록

본 연구는 죽음과 죽음불안을 완화하고 죽음대처 유능감을 비롯한 죽음 관련 태도를 긍정적으로 변화시켜 주고 우리 사회에 죽음문화가 정착될 수 있도록 일부분 기여하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해얄롬이 실존적으로 유용하게 접근한 네 가지 궁극적 관심사, 즉 죽음, 자유, 소외, 무의미에 대한 치유과정과 견해를 토대로 하여, 그가 언급한 죽음과 죽음불안 극복 가능성에 따른 삶과 죽음의 궁극적인의미를 배우고 체화할 수 있도록 도와주는 죽음교육의 필요성과, 그림책의 죽음교육적 가치와 중요성을제시하였다. 또한 삶과 죽음에 대한 올바른 가치관의 재정립을 위한 한 방안으로 그림책을 활용한 죽음교육을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to alleviate death and death anxiety, positively change death-related attitudes including the ability to cope with death, and contribute in part to the establishment of a death culture in our society. To this end, based on the healing process and views on the four ultimate concerns that Yalom approached existentially and usefully, that is, death, freedom, alienation, and meaninglessness, the ultimate analysis of life and death according to the possibility of overcoming death and death anxiety he mentioned The necessity of death education to help learn and embody the meaning of death, and the value and importance of picture books for death education were suggested. He also suggested death education using picture books as a way to redefine the right values of life and death.
