유아 교육복지에 관한 온라인 기사 키워드 네트워크 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 유아 교육복지에 대해 키워드 네트워크 분석 하여 유아 교육복지 관련 주요 이슈의 흐름과 구조를 파악하는 데 있다. 이는 향후 유아 교육복지의 질적 내실화 방안을 마련하기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 방법 유아 교육복지 관련 내용을 포함한 온라인 기사에서 ‘유아 교육복지’와 관련된 텍스트를 마이닝하고 정제한 후 빈도를 전체와 시기별로 나눠 분석하였다. 전체와 시기별 키워드의 상위 200위 키워드를 활용하여 네트워크의 기본 속성, 키워드의 중심성, 키워드 간 연결강도를 분석하고 전체 및 시기별 네트워크를 시각화하였다. 또한, 미시적으로 유아 교육복지 이슈를 살펴보고자 커뮤니티 분석을 통해 네트워크 내의 응집된 하위그룹 도출하고 하위네트워크를 시각화하였다. 분석을 위해 활용한 주요 도구는 Textom, Ucinet 6.0, Gephi 0.10.0이다. 결과 2001년부터 2022년까지 8월까지의 총 15,349개의 기사가 수집되었으며, 이 중 1기(2001-2010)는 1,206개, 2기(2011- 2017)는 6,312개, 3기(2018-2022)는 7,831개이다. 전체 키워드 빈도는 “교육청”, “교육”, “확대”, “예산”, “무상급식” 순으로 높았으며, 시기별 상위 빈도의 키워드는 전체 상위 빈도에 포함된 키워드를 다수 포함하고 있었으나 시기별로 비교적 높은 순위의 키워드도 나타났다. 전체 네트워크의 키워드들은 응집성이 높게 연결되어 있었으며 시기별 네트워크에서는 3기의 네트워크가 가장 응집성이 높았다. 커뮤니티 분석 결과 학교와 보편적 교육복지’, ‘유아 교육복지 계획 및 실천 내용’, ‘유아교육과 재정’, ‘공공성 강화’ 커뮤니티가 나타났다. 결론 유아 교육복지와 관련된 사회적 이슈는 지속해서 증가하였으며 선별적 교육복지에서 보편적 교육복지로 나아가는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 현재 유아 교육복지 관련 이슈는 교육청 담당의 유치원을 중심 나타났으며 이슈의 다양성은 다소 부족하였다. 수요자 중심의 맞춤형 교육복지로 그 질과 양을 보완해 나가야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives The objective of this study was to analyze the keyword network of early childhood education welfare in Korea and to develop strategies to improve the quality of early childhood education welfare based on the major issues related to this topic. Methods The study used online news articles to analyze the frequency, network structure, and community subgroups of keywords related to “early childhood education welfare” in Korea. Tools such as Textom, Ucinet 6.0, and Gephi 0.10.0 were used for the analysis. Results The study analyzed 15,349 collected items from 2001 to August 2022, and identified four community groups: “School and universal education welfare,” “Plan and implementation of early childhood education welfare,” “Early childhood education and finance,” and “Strengthening publicness.” The study found that the social issues surrounding early childhood education welfare in Korea are shifting towards universal welfare from selective welfare. The study identified the top keywords and their frequency, and noted that the current issues related to early childhood education welfare in Korea primarily focus on kindergartens managed by the Office of Education and lack diversity. Conclusions TTo improve early childhood education welfare in Korea, it is necessary to supplement the quality and quantity of education welfare with demand-oriented customized solutions.
