인천 학생의 생활실태 및 인식 비교

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 인천광역시 학생들의 생활실태를 파악하고, 다문화가정 여부에 따른 인식의 차이를 비교분석하여 시⋅도교육청 수준의 교육 지원에 대한 정책적 제언을 하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 인천 소재 학생 4,351명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문 영역은 개인생활, 가정생활, 학교생활로 구분하였으며, 총 81개 문항을 추출하여 분석하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 29.0을 활용하여 문항의 특성에 따라 빈도분석, 카이검정, t검정을 실시하였다. 결과 학생들은 ‘학업’, ‘진로’와 관련하여 전 생활 영역에 걸쳐 영향을 받고 있었으며, 이러한 영향은 주된 고민과 걱정거리, 학업 중단의 사유, 자아인식 및 만족감 등에서 두드러졌다. 다문화가정의 학생과 일반가정의 학생은 하위 문항에 따라 공통적 응답 경향과 차별적 응답 경향을 보였고, 학업 지원과 관련한 문항에서 다문화가정의 학생들의 낮은 수준의 인식이 확인되었다. 결론 본 연구에서는 연구 결과를 토대로 학업과 진로에 대한 지원 다각화, 학생지원에 대한 부모교육의 필요성, 학생 정신관리의 지속적이고 체계적인 지원 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to understand the living status of students in Incheon Metropolitan City and to make policy suggestions on education support at the level of the metropolitan and provincial offices of education by comparing and analyzing the differences in perceptions depending on whether they are multicultural families. Methods The researchers conducted a survey of 4,351 students in Incheon. The questionnaire area was divided into personal life, family life, and school life, and a total of 81 questions were extracted and analyzed. For data analysis, frequency analysis, chi-test, and t-test were conducted according to the characteristics of the question using SPSS 29.0. Results Students were affected in all areas of life in relation to ‘study’ and ‘career’, and these influences were prominent in main worries and concerns, reasons for discontinuing studies, self-awareness and satisfaction. Students from multicultural families and students from general families showed common response trends and differential response tendencies according to sub-questions, and negative perceptions of students from multicultural families were confirmed in the questions related to academic support. Conclusions Based on the research results, this study suggested diversifying support for studies and careers, the necessity of parent education for student support, and continuous and systematic support for student mental health management.
