코로나 19 상황에서 성인 발달장애인의 미래설계 지원프로그램을 통한 사회적 관계망 변화

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 코로나 19 상황에서 진행된 성인 발달장애인의 미래설계 지원프로그램을 통한 참여자들의 사회적 관계망 변화를 파악하는데 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 2020년 6월부터 7개월간 프로그램을 진행하였으며, 20대에서 50대까지 성인 발달장애인 12명이 최종 사회적 관계망 연구에 참여하였다. 연구는 사회적 관계망 척도를 사용한 양적연구와 개별인터뷰 및 관찰기록지를 활용한 질적연구의 혼합연구방법론을 사용하여 진행되었다. 결과 양적연구 결과, 프로그램에 참여한 성인 발달장애인의 사회적 관계망은 정서적 지지, 정보적 지지, 친밀도, 접촉빈도의 부분에서 증가하였고, 물질적 지지는 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 연령별(35세 기준)로 청년 그룹과 중장년 그룹의 사회적 관계망 변화를 살펴본 결과, 중장년 그룹이 청년 그룹에 비해 사회적 관계망이 더욱 뚜렷하게 변화된 것을 알 수 있었다. 질적연구 결과, 프로그램에 참여한 성인 발달장애인의 사회적 관계망 변화로 ‘다양한 경험을 통한 사회적 관계망의 긍정적 변화’와 ‘사회 환경 변화에 따른 사회적 관계망 구축 및 지속적인 지원 필요’의 상위주제가 도출되었다. 결론 성인 발달장애인의 미래설계 지원프로그램이 사회적 관계망의 변화에 효과적인 것으로 나타나, 향후 이들에 대한 평생과정설계로서 체계적이고 지속적인 지원정책이 마련되어야 함을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to identify the change in the social network of future design support program participants who are adults with developmental disabilities, which took place during COVID-19 situation. Methods The program went on for 7 months from June 2020, and 12 adults with developmental disabilities in their 20s to 50s participated in the final study of social network. The study was conducted by both quantitative method using social network criteria and qualitative method using individual interview and observation records Results The quantitative research method showed that the social network of adults with developmental disabilities who participated in the program increased in the parts of emotional support, informational support, closeness and contact frequency whereas material support decreased. Additionally, when the change in social network of youth and middle age group was studied (age 35 as the dividing point), middle age group showed more evident change in their social network compared to the youth group. The qualitative research showed that the change in social network of participants who are adults with developmental disabilities led to higher topic of ‘positive change in social network through various experiences’ and ‘need for continuous support and construction of social network according to changes in the society’. Conclusions It was shown that future design support program was effective in change of social network of adults with developmental disabilities, and thus it can be proposed that systematic and continuous support policy as lifelong course design should be arranged.
