예비유아교사 신체놀이지원역량 교육프로그램에 대한 예비유아교사와 교수의 인식 및 요구

국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 신체놀이지원역량 교육프로그램에 대해 예비유아교사와 교수자의 인식과 요구를 분석하여 예비유아교사를 위한 신체놀이지원역량 교육프로그램 개발의 기초자료와 함의를 제공하기 위해 이루어졌다. 방법 설문조사는 4년제와 3년제 대학에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 355명을 대상으로 실시하여 SPSS 21.0 프로그램으로 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차를 산출하였으며, 심층면담은 대학 유아교육과 교수 5명을 대상으로 실시하여 개방코딩과 심층코딩의 과정을 거쳐 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 예비유아교사와 교수자들은 신체놀이지원역량에 대한 관심, 교수역량에 미치는 영향, 교육에 의한 향상 가능성에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하였다. 한편 예비유아교사의 신체놀이지도역량에 대한 이해 정도는 낮게 인식하였다. 교사양성과정 내 관련교과목의 포함정도에 대해서는 보통보다 높게 인식하였으며, 그 내용의 충분성에 대해서 예비유아교사는 보통보다 높게, 교수자들은 부족하다고 인식하였다. 둘째, 예비유아교사와 교수자 모두 교육프로그램의 필요성과 참여의사가 높았으며, 프로그램 구성에 다양한 신체놀이 경험이 포함될 것을 요구하였다. 프로그램 운영에 대해서는 기존 교과목과 통합한 워크숍 형태의 혼합형 교수학습방법을 요구하였다. 교육기간에 대해서 예비유아교사는 2-3주를, 교수자는 4주 이상의 회당 1-2시간 소요되는 프로그램을 요구하였다. 결론 이 연구 결과는 여러 지역의 교사양성과정 현장에서 예비유아교사를 위한 신체놀이지원역량 교육프로그램에 대한 요구가 높음을 시사하며, 프로그램 개발에 있어 수요자와 교육자의 의견을 반영할 수 있는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study was conducted to analyze the perceptions and needs of preservice teachers and professors on physical play support competency and provide basic data and implications for the development of preservice early childhood teachers’ physical play support education programs. Methods A survey of 355 PECTs was conducted and in-depth interviews were conducted on five professors of early childhood education at universities. Results First, both PECTs and professors positively recognized their interest in PPSC, their impact on teaching capabilities, and the potential for improvement by education. On the other hand, it was recognized that the level of understanding of the PPSC of PECTs would not be high. It also recognized the degree of inclusion as a related subject in the PECT training course to be moderate. In terms of sufficiency, PECTs perceived it as moderate, and professors perceived it as insufficient. Second, both PECTs and professors needed and were highly willing to participate in education program for PPSC, and required to deal with various physical play domains. As for the operation of the program, it required the most method of teaching in the form of workshops with existing subjects and to be conducted on weekdays during the semester. For the duration of education, PECTs required two to three weeks, professors required more than four weeks, and programs that took 1-2 hours per session. Conclusions The findings suggest that there is a high demand for PPSC education programs for PECTs at the various teacher training process site, and can be used as basic data to reflect the opinions of consumers and educators in the development of programs.
