국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 초기 학령기 아동을 대상으로 ‘미술’과 ‘언어’ 활동 융합형 프로그램을 실시하여 자기주도적 학습능력 및 의사소통 태도에 미치는 효과를 파악하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 경기도 소재 사회적 기업 C에서 방과 후 돌봄 교실에 참여하는 학령초기 아동 5명을 참여자로 주 1회 회기당 60분씩 총 10회기의 프로그램을 실시하였고, 기관보고 및 면담자료, 회기평가 및 관찰일지, 초등학생용 자기주도적 학습능력 척도와 의사소통 척도를 기반으로 자기주도적 학습능력 및 의사소통 태도의 변화양상을 질적분석하였다. 결과 ‘미술’과 ‘언어’ 활동 융합형 프로그램을 설계하여 적용한 결과, 학습계획, 학습실행, 학습평가 영역에 이르는 자기주도적 학습능력의 긍정적 변화를 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 해석, 역할수행, 자기제시, 목표설정, 메시지 전환능력을 중심으로 한 의사소통태도에서도 자신감과 적극성, 관심도와 안정감이 함양되는 유의미한 결과를 확인할 수 있었다. 결론 본 연구는 사회적으로 확산되고 있는 이슈인 ‘융복합’의 담론을 아동 발달지원을 위한 치료교육으로 확산시키고자 하는 선도적 연구로 본 연구를 통해 뚜렷한 실천 논리를 찾기 힘들었던 미술과 언어의 융복합적 접근을 정교화하고 효과성을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study are to administer a convergence program of “art” and “language” to a group of early school-age children and investigate its effects on their learning abilities and communication attitudes. Methods For these purposes, the study selected five early school-age children participating in an after-school care class at C, a social enterprise in Gyeonggi Province. They participated in a ten-session program with a 60-minute session per week. The study conducted a qualitative analysis of changing patterns of their self-directed learning abilities and communication attitudes based on agency reports, interviews, session evaluations, observation logs, and inventories on self-directed learning abilities and communication for elementary school students. Results The analysis results show that the convergence program of “art” and “language” activities had significant effects on school-age children s improvement in self-directed learning abilities across the areas of learning planning, implementation, and evaluation and also in self-confidence, initiative, interest, and stability under communication attitude. Conclusions As a result of designing and applying the convergence program of “art” and “language” activities, positive changes in self-directed learning ability ranging from learning plan, learning performance, and learning assessment areas were confirmed. In addition, in the communication attitude centered on interpretation, role performance, self-presentation, goal setting, and message conversion ability, it was possible to confirm the significant results of cultivating confidence, positiveness, interest rate and stability.
