유아 내러티브에 대한 현장 교사의 인식

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 현장에서 직접 유아들의 내러티브를 경험하는 교사들의 인식을 포커스 그룹을 통해 알아보는데에 그 목적이 있다.본 연구는 현장에서 직접 유아들의 내러티브를 경험하는 교사들의 인식을 포커스 그룹을 통해 알아보는데에 그 목적이 있다. 방법 연구참여자는 현장의 유치원 교사 9명으로 연구자는 포커스 그룹인터뷰 형식으로 유아 내러티브에 대한 인식과 적용, 어려움 등에 대한 이야기 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석은 근거이론에 따라 인터뷰 내용을 모두 전사하고 범주화하는 과정을 거쳤다. 결과 본 연구 결과 첫째, 현장의 유아교사들은 언어 활동 뿐만이 아닌 다양한 활동에서 실제적으로 내러티브를 경험했다. 둘째, 유아 내러티브는 경험과 감각을 바탕으로 발현되는 것이므로 대안적 교육과정의 하나로서 내러티브의 교육적 가치를 공통적으로 인식하고 있었다. 셋째, 유아 내러티브에 대한 실제적인 적용과 교사로서의 내러티브 이끌어내기에 대한 역할에 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 결론 마지막으로 교사들은 유아의 일상과 놀이에서 실제로 적용 가능한 유아 내러티브 중심의 교육과정의 가능성을 보고 이를 위한 노력이 필요함을 인식하고 있었다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the perceptions of teachers who directly experience the narratives of children in classroom through focus groups. Methods Participants in the study were nine kindergarten teachers, and the researcher recorded about teacher’s perception on young children narratives, and difficulties in the narrative curriculum by focus group interviews. All of interview data coded and categorized according to the theory of evidence. Results As a result of this study firstly, early childhood teachers in the field actually experienced narrative in various activities including language activities. Secondly, early childhood narratives are one of an alternative curriculum that is expressed based on experiences and senses, and recognizes the educational value of narratives in common. Thirdly, teachers are struggling with the practical application of the narrative of young children and the role of eliciting the narrative as a leader. Conclusions Lastly, teachers saw the possibility of young children narrative-curriculum that can be practically applied to children s daily life and play, and recognized the need for efforts for this.
