국문 초록

목적 현대 사회는 성인학습자들이 다양한 평생교육 프로그램에 참여하여 일생을 살아가는데 필요한 새로운 능력들을 지속적으로 학습하고 역량을 개발하도록 요구한다. 본 연구는 평생교육기관의 성인학습자의 자기주도학습능력이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향 관계에서 창의성의 매개효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 방법 천안 및 세종지역에 소재하는 평생교육기관 성인학습자들을 대상으로 3주간(2020년 10월 4일-10월 25일) 조사하여 실증분석을 실시하였다. 결과 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 평생교육기관 성인학습자의 자기주도학습능력은 창의성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 평생교육기관 성인학습자의 자기주도학습능력은 인지된 학업성취도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 평생교육기관 성인학습자의 창의성은 인지된 학업성취도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 평생교육기관 성인학습자의 자기주도학습능력과 인지된 학업성취도의 관계에서 창의성은 유의한 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 성인학습자가 자기주도학습능력, 창의성, 인지된 학업성취도를 갖추는 삶을 살기 위한 방안 마련에 이론적이고 실증적인 자료를 제공하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives Modern society demands that adult learners participate in life-long education programs to learn new skills and develop new abilities they need as they live on. The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of creativity in the relationship between the self-directed learning ability of adult learners of life-long education centers and their learning achievement. Methods An empirical analysis was conducted by surveying adult learners of lifelong education institutions located in Cheonan and Sejong regions for 3 weeks (October 4 to October 25, 2020). Results First, adult learners self-directed learning abilities in life-long education centers had a significant impact on creativity. Second, adult learners self-directed learning ability in life-long education centers had a significant effect on the perceived learning achievements of these learners. Third, the creativity of the adult learners in life-long education centers had a significant impact on perceived learning achievement. Fourth, in the relationship between self-directed learning ability and the perceived learning achievement, creativity had a significant mediating effect. Conclusions The implication of this study is that it provided the theoretical and empirical data for the development of the strategies for adult learners to secure the perceived learning achievement, creativity, and self-directed learning ability.
