국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 다문화가정 배경에서 자란 음악치료사의 성장 경험을 탐구하는 것이다. 이를 위해 다문화가정의 자녀인 한 음악치료사의 성장 경험을 자문화기술지로 서술하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구자는 다문화가정이라는 배경 가운데 부모님의 갈등, 또래의 따돌림, 부정적 평가를 경험하였으며, 그로 인해 낮은 자존감과 정서적 어려움을 겪었다. 둘째, 연구자는 음악치료사로 훈련받는 과정에서 과거의 상처로 인해 전문적 성장에 어려움을 경험하였다. 이후 연구자는 내면의 상처와 다문화적 배경을 성찰하는 과정을 통해 내면의 힘을 얻었으며, 다문화가정에 대한 자신과 사회의 편견을 인식하고 다문화 내담자를 이해할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 연구자는 음악치료사로서 개인적, 전문적 성장을 이룰 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 다문화가정 자녀의 삶을 개인적, 사회문화적 차원에서 심층적으로 이해할 수 있도록 돕고, 음악치료사의 성장에 대한 통찰 과정을 생생히 전달하는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the process of insight into the growth of music therapists who grew up as child of multicultural families. The researcher is a child of a multicultural family and a music therapist, and this study was analyzed using the Auto-ethnography method. First, the researcher experienced parental conflict, peer bullying, and reproach due to the background of multicultural families. And the researcher experienced low self-esteem and emotional difficulties. Second, the researcher had difficulty growing professionally due to past wounds in the process of training as a music therapist. Nevertheless, the researcher gained inner strength by insighting wounds and multicultural backgrounds. Through this, the researcher was able to achieve personal and professional growth as a music therapist. The results of the study help understanding of the lives of children from multicultural families at the personal and socio-cultural levels. In addition, it is meaningful to convey the growth experience as a music therapist.
